your question is confusing since I think you mean plan but you're typing "plane" you don" t keep anyone as a "back up plane". That is manipulative and evil. You are either interested in a person or you're not. If you like someone go out with them, if you don't let them see someone who values them, don't keep them around for the sake of your ego, this is very bad behavior, some really attractive people do it because they can, but make sure you know you are a really rotten person if you choose this behavior

Because you let him. A back up plan is someone that at the last minute you can call string along and just take from. Tell him to get lost and see if you become the number one plan if not, go find someone that thinks you are number one

Those are some really difficult questions. The back-up could be anyone, ranging from your cousin to one of his ex's to just a really close friend of his that he only get to see from time to time that he enjoys spending time with. There's no way to even begin to find out what type of person she may be. But don't let that get you down. You're just barking up the wrong tree. Instead of trying to figure out anything about her, you should be figuring out ways to make him desire to be with you more.
