that it does not matter how one chooses to worship him? Why do they want to impose their cultural beliefs on other nations that have their own cultural identity? Everyone has different tastes and imagine him in different forms and these maybe represented in idols as a focal point? It connects these people personally to him like nothing else! Do they think that the uncreated creator is so petty that he does not listen to people coz they don't call him by the a certain name? Or is it their own ego coming in between to mediate as the saviour? Who appointed them the mediator between god and his people? Do they not believe in the innate goodness of people unless they are christianised or islamised?

If you look at the initial stages of development of Christianity and Islam you will find the use of state power to propagate and defend religion.
The ultimate dream of a political power is to control the whole world.
Here religion was sought to be used for the same purpose.
Under a single undisputed religious authority the world could be brought under a single political umbrella.
Thus the argument "The Kingdom of God would be possible only when the world population will accept..........."
Also the reason of inbuilt intolerance in the two religions, in the quest of political power you can not afford to tolerate your opponent.
The high pitched call for eliminating the followers of other religions or converting them can be understood from the same point of view.
The followers are called to perform their duty towards God and defend the true God with an excessive emphasis in reference to other faiths/religions as propagating false gods and as non believers.

The real motive Political conquest of the World. The methodology use of Religion and God. The reason for non-achievement ot desired goals - Regional Leaders refused to accept a single ultimate Political Authority - eg., The Holy Roman Emperor, The Khalifa

Because for Christianity, we believe that Jesus was the last prophet and Messiah while Muslims believe that Muhammad was the last. And this goes way back to when Abraham had a child. God told Abraham his son will start a new religion. before that when his wife allowed him to have a child with his servant, they named him Issac. When sara had a child they sent the servant away with money. and god told the servant her son will start a new religion. this is why christians and muslims fight.

The five pillars of islam are: there is no god but allah and muhammad is his prophet. the second is daily prayer. the third is to help the poor. the fourth is fasting during ramadan. and the fifth is the hajj or pilgrimage to mecca.
So we all basically have the same idea but we didnt name god, have two different prophets and they have the koran or quran which came from "god to muhammad" and we have the bible which came from jesus' preechings and alot of other stuff.

ISLAM is a religion founded by Muhammad and they were previously called Muhammedans and now muslim.

CHRISTIANITY was a name given to the follower of Jesus christ. It was never called a religion, the word christian points to a believer in christ. And in the scripture they were called SAINTS. It is only during the time of emperor constantine that christianity became a formal religion, mixing the truth with the lies. But never before.

Islam was never close to God, neighter Christianity, it was the believer or the saints that is close to God. Majority of Islam teaching is contradictory to the Bible. Salvation in Islam is different from the salvation that the scripture is saying.

Believing in one God cannot save anyone, because the devil also believed and tremble according to the Bible.

Idolatry is not a christian doctrine and it is forbidden in the scriptures and the punishment is so sever up to the 3rd and 4th generation.

have you ever study the Bible and the Koran for your self or are you purely basing your ideals on what you're being informed by others? that's not a decision it is easy to make simply by fact your destiny relies upon on making the main appropriate decision. continually is undying and the two instruct that there is a existence after this one. regrettably many human beings have not made their decision on the information. My neighbor merely misplaced his abode simply by fact he signed some papers that he never study. He took the indoors maximum loan officer's notice for what they reported. It grew to become out that he would desire to not shop up with the money simply by fact the interest fee replaced over the direction of the indoors maximum loan. in the commencing up the money have been low sufficient he would desire to handle them yet they quickly have been given so intense he could not arise with the money for them and he borrowed better than his abode exchange into worth so he could not sell his abode for what he owned so he had to purely stroll away. His credit is ruined and his family members is having to proportion a pair of rooms in somebody else's abode. there's a verse interior the Bible that proclaims, great is the way that leads to destruction and many bypass that way yet narrow is the way that leads to existence eternal yet few there are that discover it. From that verse you spot, finding eternal existence isn't an ordinary element. In Islam there are various policies and issues that a believer has to take action it is not ordinary the two. study the books for your self. look on the information.

Unless you go with the fanatics in Islam, I have found Muslims to accept what a person and his religious beliefs are. They never push-though I am sure they hope, with time, people will accept Islam.

The Evangelical Christians are the ones who are pushy and screaming damnation unless one believes as they do. This is one group of Christians I have no respect for.

I like my religion, which believes the good of the earth will someday be with G-d, no matter what their religion is.

But, it takes all types----------------------------

They want others to believe in their god n impose their cultural beliefs on other religious people they feel that their god is great n that he has more powers than others. they dont believe in one n only one god even they say so if they really did they would have believed in others gods as well. so this is only their saying not the one they practice in life. hinduism doesnt impose their beliefs on others they respect each n every religion in our country. no one religion is less no one is great.

As a Christian I can confidently tell you that the creator of man kind is one.... In Christianity we recognize him as the holy Trinity... simply God.

... In Islam they give him a name "Allah" which means when translated into english "The God"... In french they say "Dieu"...

... Names are not important, we share the same creator who poured his love into our hearts to make us all one in him, through him and for him....

... Now to be frank with you, when it comes to politics.... all parties will try to use relegion for their favor and they do everything in the name of God/Allah/Relegion/Divine Books.... when their only god comes in a barrel and burns in the engines of vehicles.
