I have a beautiful pai of Art Series amps that come from the factory with plastic modules (?) for power cable input and ground output, sized for 6ga. cable.
I would love to use 4ga. cable.
Any ideas?
thank you

I would assume that as long as you use a cable rated higher than than the output it would be safe. You would not want to use a smaller/thinner cable because the cable would burn up before the amp would. I don't know much about amps, but regarding residential wiring, you want to make sure your electric wire is rated greater than or equal to the breaker. This way the breaker will pop before the wire heats up to dangerous levels. For example, if I use 12 ga (20 amp) wire on a 15 amp breaker the breaker will break long before the wire is even close to be overloaded. I know that isn't exactly what you are asking, but maybe the same applies to amps as it does residential wiring.

power wire size can be converted by using a distribution block near the amps. 4g to the bock, 6g from block to amps. 6 guage grounds will be fine for these amps. remember to keep grounds as short as possible. also upgrade the ground at the battery by adding a better grounding strap. that will help keep these amps cool. also keep rca's and power wires away from each other, this will cut down on any engine noise. these are awesome amps that sound great. good luck.

Why not jut runa blade across the ouside and shave alittle off of it. Simple and retro as hell but it will work or just get a distribution block and downsize but not too much for a less drop in voltage from point to point.

sparkling or capacity., new ones are cleanser however the previous college had greater capacity. previous college have been highley under-rated. new ones inform you max capacity @ 14.4 volts.. previous ones supply you rms @ 4 ohm at 12 volts. new is cleanser sounding yet dont pound as frustrating. previous ones pound yet have a a techniques better distortion score.
