firsth...put an angelina jolie poster in fron of you.....done
Now...that's the woman your future husband will like instead of you!...really, instead of many womans... but if you get a nice bofy like hers, he will look at you and see you,...wow! my wife is so hot!, and not imagine some hot celebrity..... Another thing... is he loosing wait too? why womans have to do all the sacrifice? he probably should get in shape too... If you go back to the burger...don't buy it! WHY BURGERS YOU PEOPLE! THEY ARE DESGUSTING! I haven't eat one in years, the problem is that you havent find the grace and the taste on the other food, find someone that cooks nice, or do really nice recipes yourself...God Bless!

I don't know if this will work for you, but it's what I'm doing. I bought a bunch of fitness magazines cut out lots of articles and pictures, I look at pictures of how I used to look (fit and lean)...and especially when I go to the mall. I look at all the stuff I *could* wear...and it makes me want to run 10 miles. lol. You just need to train your mind into wanting to look good and be healthy. If you really can't resist the burger and fries..ok, but try not to get a double whopper and a large fry...chop down your portions, eat more fruits and veggies..and drink a ton of water - it's a start. For me, once I started dieting..after about 3 or 4 days I was used to it already and I continued eating healthy and not drinking soda, etc. I actually caved once recently and had about 3 sips of coke (which used to be my all time favorite drink) and come to find out...it didn't taste the same to me. It wasn't even satisfying. It's weird how it works but it does! You just need to get over that 3 or 4 day hump and then you're good to go! Think about your wedding day and how beautiful you will look - think of all the pictures that will be taken, etc...good luck & congratulations on the engagement/weddin! :-)

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.

Good LUCK!

There are answers and there are solutions for this type of problems.....but the fact is that sometimes, some people just don't find the necessary motivation to go through with a diet or some weight loss plan. What can I say to you? If volition doesn't do it, them maybe the perspective of some shameful wedding photos will do...How about that? Just think yourself thin over the years looking back and showing friends your wedding photos....Not very nice, ha?

Otherwise, you can check out these diet programs....who knows, maybe you'll find one to suit your necessities...maybe one which is more entertaining, one which combines exercises a lot

Good luck! And remember....you will never forget your wedding day. Nor you, nor your husband, not anyone who would be invited. I bet you have some envious "friends"...

First, are you really overweight or obese? Check first if you are at a healthy weight or not. Is the burger and fries an occasional thing or is it your way of life?
You seem to be motivated for a relatively short term event. Even if you succeed, what about afterwards? How about setting goals for yourself, not for something or someone else? I suspect the reason you don't succeed is because you simply don't have a good enough reason to change your lifestyle.
First think about what you would really like about being less overweight. Then you think: is this order of fries good enough that I don't get the results I want? Do I really want that load of bat fats and carbs to get to my waist, not to mention my blood vessels?

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

If you need an honest opinion please go through the answer if not then please skip it coz there is no need if you are not looking for the truth.

The first step to your goal is that you are honest with yourself and you are looking for the Truth.

Do not ask people to give you motivation but ask your close friends and family for helping you to reach your goal by the motivation that you found inside yourself to start your diet. Believe me if it came from inside you then you will not need help but if you will do it for someone else then it will not work.

My advice is, Sit alone and look inside you for the honest that you searched here when u scrolled down. Ask yourself "am I ready for the diet and to lose weight or not?".
If yes PLEASE START IT AND I WISH YOU THE BEST.

BUT if not? then don't start because you will survive for 1 or 2 weeks as max and then you will hate yourself and the next try will be much much harder.

Wish you a happy marriage and enjoy your time.

You must find a big enough reason and take action in order to be motivated. Motivation does not appear out of the blue. Being driven by a strong purpose/goal and taking action is what brings about motivation.

Maybe you could try just eating half the burger so you won't be getting as many calories but you'll still be eating what you really want. Chew thoroughly and enjoy your meals.
