Mine is usually right around 120 over 70, but now the doctors are saying this is "prehypertension," and it needs to be *under* 120/70.
I think I just give up!

It's a little high. I wouldn't say normal people have 120 over 70, rather normal blood pressure is 120 over 70.

well when i went the hospital myn was 126 over 85 or something like that i cant remember but i know it was 85 so if yours wasnt ok then neither is myn (but the doctor told me myn was ok)
