After I burn 20 songs on a cd, I play track by track on my car. While listening the 2nd track, I notice the volume of the 2nd song is lower than the 1st one. It also happens like this at the previous CD. What can I do to make all the songs at a balance volume?

It's better to use a stand-alone Mp3 normalizer;
here's a link to one that's excellent and free; MP3Gain:

If you burn your music offline from a free peer to peer program like limewire, you'll probably have that problem with the entire c.d. because the volume will be based off of how the person that uploaded it recorded the song, or how the song was supposed to sound on the original c.d. A lot of premium versions of music jukeboxes like MusicMatchPRO or the premium version of RealPlayer have volume balancers....can't tell you exactly how to access the volume setting, but if you dick around with the options long enough you'll probably find it. It goes through the c.d. and equalizes the music at an even tone throughout. I've heard from many who use it though that the results arent really what they hoped for. You're better off just cranking the dial every other song in your car.

If you have Nero Bundle softwares

Then
Open the Nero wave editor.
One option is there in tools menu-
Auto Volume levelling
Try this on every song and you can get uniform volumes in every track you play.

If you want to increase the volume of a particular track then try the change volume option and you can increase.

Cheers

Its to do with the quality of the download, all though it may sound clear, the no of bites may be lower than the previous. U need to use a programme like winamp and check and alter all the settings so they are the same. Its a pain to start with but once you get used to it you wizz through songs in seconds.

It may depend on which software you use to burn your Cd's I use windows media player and it makes all the sound levels the same, if you use a different software i would suggest looking thru the settings you should find something to make all the volume levels equal.

Most burning software has an option for normalizing audio files. Normalizing will bring all the tracks into a tighter range of volume.

This is related to the quality of songs and one may be higher than the other. Use a program link wmp or winamp to check the quality or the no. of bytes of each song .
