I agree with you that it very important to drop the concepts about absolute sin and investigate with a free and open mind what is going on in the world instead of being judgmental based on religion and culture. If somebody does that with a strong believe in god or a higher power, I think that´s o.k. you can be a free thinker and believe in god. that´t part of the choices a free mind has.

I have a dream that one day we will all frolic in the hills and valleys and towards supper time we will all sit together under the Flying Spaghetti Monster eating Mac and cheese and revel in the glory of noodley Appendages.Then we can look at one another with happy smiles and glory in our hearts as each race of man lives in sublime harmony and piracy.
Unfortunately I don't see other religions giving up their gods.And sin is the good stuff... well to a point. Like candy and ice cream.

You are certainly free to hold that opinion, just as those who believe in the things you do not, are free to hold their opinions. It is something which I am sure you will have to agree to disagree on. Incidentally, if you actually know what true reality is, I would like to know myself.
