Adultery, is strictly and historically defined as consensual sexual intercourse by a married woman with a man other than her lawful husband; meaning only the carnal intercourse of a wife with a man who is not her lawful husband. Both the married woman and the man, married or unmarried, are considered guilty of adultery if they engage in such an act. The intercourse of a married man with a single woman is not accounted adultery, but philandery.

Adultery can simply be sx before marraige but can also include french kissing, oral sx and inapropriate touching. It also includes intermarital affairs and self gratification. the list is long depending on the religion. It's easiest just to consider how things were in jesus' time. If a man kissed a woman he was to marry her and only virgins were appealing as it is believed that sleeping with an impure woman means the man is also sleeping with the men that that woman has been with.

Adultery is a method used by folks to fulfill a need in their heart. It is based on selfishness and can cause deep misery for anyone involved.

People who commit adultery are people who have a hard time being satisfied with what they have. Maybe greed is invoked as well as adultery when the thoughts of it are being roused in the heart. Adultery could be a masking action making up for a low self-esteem.

Adultery is having sex with someone other than your wife or husband. Depending on perspective, some people even consider surfing porn and masturbating as adultery if the person is married.

Originally the term referred to a married woman having sex with someon that was NOT her husband. It later came to mean first any married person haaving sex with someone other than their spouse and later still it came to be used to describe ANY sexual activity between people that were not married to each other, whether they were married to anyone else or not (which was originally fornitaciton) and now the two term are erroneously used interchangebly (although it is very rare to her anyone use the word fornication, it is usually replaced by a 4-letter slang term).

When a man and a woman engage in intercourse, they bond physically, spiritually, and mentally.

The best evidence of the bonding that takes place during sex is when the couple breaks up and both of them feel like their insides have literally been torn in half and they're bleeding internally for a long time.

The betrayal of this bond is what adultery really is.

Now, heres the thing, if a Man has an affair outside of his marriage from his wife for another Man, does that constitute Adultery?

Sex with someone other than your spouse, period........but Jesus also said if you look upon someone with lust in your heart (your mind is firmly fixed on having sex with that person......you keep imagining being with that person), then you have committed adultery already in your heart. Your mind is dwelling on someone else rather than God, and folks that dwell on things usually do it. Our God looks upon the heart, not the outer person.
