How often are they likely to engage in flings as compared to younger women?

By older women i mean older then the 20 to 30 group. women between the ages of 30 to 40 are not old , many look very very hot.

it doesn't matter what your age everyone enjoys flirting.
the most vulnerable ages are between 16 -30 i think woman older than this are more experienced and sometimes now if they are going to taken for granted and flings (as you call them) are all they want some on the other hand want something more reliable.
I say each to their own if it feels good do it
whats that saying life begins at forty!

As a much older near deaths door just hanging on by a thread type of older woman (41) I have to say the attitude of some of you young boys is unbelievable. Lots of us old biddies are getting their lives back again at 30 -40 and realising that there is loads of fun to be had. The difference between us and young girls is that we make the decision to do it.

I'm in that age group and I don't class myself as an older women!
Anyway I have the same amount as flings now as I did 10 years ago.

i would be inclined to say maybe somewhat less. Only because once we have a bit more life experience, the brain engages sooner. Flings,(one nighters?) are not as spontanious.
At least thats how i see it.

Thanks for calling me "an older woman"! Seriously, I don't think they would engage in flings as much as a married woman, cos the thrill of doing it behind your husband's/partner's back is no longer there. That's why both husbands AND wives will do it - to sample the "forbidden fruit".

an older woman is more mature and more experienced than a younger woman. men often go for older women.

Now I'm in my mid 30s I must say I havent really changed my behaviour. Still as up for it as when I was younger :)

the more mature lady (30-40),is the much better option,just lie there and let all that experience do the work.quality.
