i really don't know. i wish i did.....i talk to all my family who have passed away right before i finally pray before sleeping. i wish they are there listening to me and i am not just talking to plain air.

maybe one day i will find out. hopefully i get to see everyone who has gone before me......but if i were to die and it ends there with nothing else after, i would not know right now without a doubt that it is going to be that way. i still hope that maybe it does not end but i am ready to accept whatever outcome it will be.

i'd like to think that there is something after death....i would like to know that those who went before me are still existing somewhere out there.....it is just too sad for me to think that those i have known who have passed on, their lives and memories just ends. i think they deserve better than that for all the have accomplished in this life......but who am i do demand this.....i am nothing but a finite being whose life will end eventually. i thank the Lord i have children and grandchildren....at least i can say it was worth it all.

i dont have a damn clue. yes, im brave enough to admit to myself that i absolutely cannot be certant what happens when i die.

Its a pitty though, when christains are dumbfounded when christains are like, 'why do you even want to be alive if you dont even believe in a life after death?' first off i dont not believe in a life after death. I take no sides.

This statement shows alot. It shows how they believe they would not want to live if their was no god. SO say if their was no god these people claim they would rather commit suicide because life is meaningless and chaotic. Natural selection would come into play with something that would solve this dillema of man knowing of their inevitable death and create a system that would relieve the stress of this and help aid the survival of the gene.

nothing happens to me anymore, the self is dead. karmic energy moves on into the next form of existence.

unfortunately I can't say it much better as with "karmic energy". another possible way to express it would be the "unborn mind". only the unborn doesn't die (cause it was never born, right?) everything else, like the self, has to.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

That part of you that is visible ,you already understand . The part of you that defies understanding of how or why or where it comes from that will endure for longer. That portion of you ,some call spirit or soul, will last longer if you establish a relationship with God who created you .if you live with and love with Him , that part of you will live eternally ! If you fail to acknowledge Him and His existence you separate your self from that possibility and at a second confrontation with Him,if that situation still exists , even that part of you will dwell in hell till it and those in it are destroyed.

I think our soul is taken to a place that may be thought of as "heaven" but only teperarily to reveiw the life that you have lived. then I think some of us are reborn int the world to start over and learn life lessons that we have faild to learn in our previous life or lives. thats y some people posess greater wisdom then outhers.
