okay. he could "make" Jesus even if he was the son of Joseph?okay.God to "cheat" Joseph? cheat him of what ? what do you cheat a mere human of ? He was created in the image of God himself. Not Joseph. Not whip out a "create a son" kit. not any human , Mary was the vessel to carry him to fruition. Again , according to prophesy.

God used the Holy Spirit to impregnate Mary and Jesus wouldn't be the Son of God if Joseph had got her pregnant.

We cannot criticize or condemn what we do not know. We must have a thorough knowledge and it must be either something that we are inclined to believe or a hypothesis which we want to be convinced of if given the proper reasoning. The simple fact that you have brought up the name of Jesus and Joseph and Mary means you should have read the bible or were explained the birth of Christ. The simple fact that you sit listening to someone talk to you of Christ means you are interested and inclined to believe. So before you start dissecting the Bible, I would suggest you read the Bible one time and then discuss this point once again. Once you go into any Holy Scripture, the scripture itself turns your thinking correctly and you will wonder how you even asked this question earlier.

Actually Joseph was not cheated at all. He was the dirtiest, ugliest and poorest man in his village. Further he was a real scrooge. A typical Jew, in other words. All girls were laughing at him and everybody knew that the local authorities would never find a bribe for him. So he cut this deal with Jehovah: He took Mary with the promise not to touch her for the period upon delivery and then she could be at his disposal. Now about of choice of delivery through Virgin Mary, the choice was purely symbolic, since Jehovah wanted to stress out the dual nature of Jesus Christ [human and divine]

Because first, I believe he wanted to keep Jesus away from public view. And second, if it were joseph's child, people wouldn't believe he was the son of god. And third, scientist's only guess on how Jesus was born was Joseph got her pregnant and lied about it (so it only depends on belief. Scientists cant really prove it to be wrong).

You sound like you've lost yourself in an apologetic or philosophical debate, and you've missed the story and it's drama.
If you combine the accounts of Matthew and Luke, what you get is a story of a young woman who was visited by an angel and informed that her old "cousin" was pregnant.
The girl left Nazareth and traveled south to Judea to visit this old woman for 3 months, and she became pregnant while she was gone.
Joseph's actions testify to us that Mary had been touched by God in that he agreed to take on a woman who to all others was a sl ut and a stain on the family of anyone who took her.

His mother was Mary, his biological father was Gabriel. Joseph was Mary's husband. He was a good guy so he raised the kid as his own.
