I believe because the Koran or Quran is what muslims refer to as a guide to life. Its like the Bible but was translated by the "last" prophet. This is why Muslims and Jews fight because Muslims say Muhammad is the last prophet but Jews claim Jesus was the last. So, coming from two different Prophets, thus comes two different outlooks on how to live life. The Koran or Quran which is supposed to be translated from God to Muhammad. And the Bible which came from Jesus' Preechings which I presume came from God as well.

The Holy Quran is the Muslim's book while the holy Bible (old) belongs to Christians

One teaches love to love your enemy. The other to kill your enemy.
That's what's wrong with the world. We glamorize crime, murder, and violence by supporting the movies we go to, the music we buy, the images we idealize, the video games we play....It's no wonder people are confused and deceived.
The followers of the Koran have had hundreds of years of warring and violence, as put forth in their 'book'. Very barbaric actually. A lot like the Bible's Old Testament.

If you look at the different interpretations of the Bible and hence the different Christianities ( there are 37 different denominations where I live) and if you examine the Bible and its origin then you could consider not just the Qu ran but also anything else that has been foisted upon us.

First of all my friend: LEARN to respect other people's beliefs and stop thinking you know more than they do.

Second: Why don't people read the ancient Sumerian texts (by far older than the Bible) which tell the original story instead of sticking to later unprecise and misleading re-elaborations of them (such as the Bible for instance)?

I'll tell you why: because people want to believe whatever makes them feel more comfortable, and that's a very SUBJECTIVE choice. Be a good human being, no matter what your Faith is, that's what matters. Peace.

It was only when the bible had been falsified that god released the qur'an,every word of truth in the bible(very little) was rewritten in the qur'an so that we can throw the bibles away and depend absolutely on the qur'an.

Each faith needs their special book as their guide. There is room for both books. In order not to leave out other faithes there is room for all books of religious importance.
