She's lonely and a little too over sexed for her own good. She should have stayed away from George.

Curley's spouse is the only woman character in Of mice and adult men yet she does not acquire a acceptance or any know by way of fact the only woman. on the start, Curley's spouse is defined to the reader in the path of the comments of the adult men on the ranch. candy tells Lennie and George whilst he first meets them that she ' have been given the attention' for the adult men on the ranch, even although she has basically been married to Curley for 2 weeks. candy thinks that she is 'a tart'. Like most of the characters in the radical his portrayal of her dream is substantial to this universal topic as is her dating with Curley whilst positioned next to the dating of George and Lennie Steinbeck portrays her as a woman who's surprisingly and needs the attention of adult men the two out of conceitedness and lonliness.

Steinbeck represents Curley’s wife as a lonely woman who is unappreciated by her husband, so, conclusively, she will flirt with any man who comes to the ranch. She is not particularly a whore, she is desperate for love and to be noticed. Her dreams of being a movie star again represent her need to be acknowledged and loved. She is sexually driven; sexual behaviour and flirting is the only way she feels she can communicate with men. Notice that, in the barn with Lenny she seems more comfortable because she doesn’t expect Lennie to sexually want her.
She feels admired when he strokes her hair…unfortunately his uncontrollable strength results in her, and his, death.

lonely, crying out for attention by dressing nicely to impress all the workers on the farm, notice in the book/film that stienbeck doesnt give her a name, she is just called Curleys wife.
in the end bad things happen from her barking up the wrong tree with george, and both of them get killed.
