One barrel isn't nearly enough.
But you may be on to something.
If only money translated into instant school buildings and credentialled teachers, which it doesn't. Everything else aside, we simply can't handle the sheer NUMBERS.

That's a very interesting concept,at least the US would get something out of this lop-sided illegal alien issue. As it is we only get more people that are a drain on our infrastructure, our social programs, taxes, schools, hospitals, etc. While your plan may work Id be afraid that Mexico would run dry of oil because of the number of illegals coming to this nation.
To the rude poster above,if Mexicans value their land so much ,why don't they stay in Mexico and repair the damage that years of neglect of its poorest people has created. You cant say
how much you love Mexico as you are running across the border to the USA.That just doesn't make any sense at all .
The people in Mexico live in poverty because of their own governments non caring, non action on social issues within its borders. The USA has its own poverty and I for one believe that we must help our own country's poor, before any other country.
Charity begins at home.Live like some of Americas poor and maybe you will be helping Americans .

That oil will eventually run out, and I don't think there are enough barrels to cover the amount of illegal Mexican people here.

No, it couldn't work but I do like the concept. It's good that you're thinking. Illegal immigration is a complex issue. In order for us to really do something about it, it would cost lots of money and make us look like bad guys to a lot of people. I say spend the money and look like bad guys. It's very easy to find illegals. Find them and deport them. DNA test and fingerprint them. If they re-enter the country illegally send them to jail for six months then deport them again. Lots of them would leave on their own. They could make it somewhat easier to legally immigrate as well. I don't blame the illegals. If my family were starving and I had the opportunity to provide for them and had to commit a misdemeanor to do it, I would. They're mearly taking advantage of the situation. That is the American way. Capitalize. They can partially blame their own government. Mexico has the resources to be a very prosperous nation. They're so corrupt that they are not. We can't force Mexico into doing anything but we can change our policies and it's long overdue. Maybe one day we will come to our senses and get tough.

Illegals do not own oil.The spanish blood Mexicans are the ones that control the wealth. If they do not take care of their poverty why would they give away oil.The elite wealthy Mexicans are intentionally pushing their poverty on the USA.I do not know what percentages are wealthy but it is one of the top richest countries in the world.

would not work. Mexicans value the land they live on because it is rich in history and hard work. before you say anymore, just turn your ignorant self around and think a whole entire year on another stupid question

The only thing that will work is a giant wall, sea to shining sea, and a sharpshooter every 100 feet. I dont want anything from Mexico. It would self destruct without America, and I say let it, and then we can come in and Americanize it.
