i bought this computer program but it wasnt the original version and when i finished installing it, it askes for an serial /key/ activation code but i don't know where to find it.
can anyone help me?

Hello Dear
In your CD there is a file in not pad or PDF or others with name serial or key or a file named key gen you should find it and read its guide to activate it .

fortget it and get a new reader/writer cd drive and get powerdvd v6 I bought a liteonit dvd/cd read/write unit at my local pcclub store for $90.00 or a little less and it came with the program and the serial number for the program I have not yet had a problem and it is better than the v5 in my humble opinion. good luck Bestbuy, circiutCity, Wal~mart, Fry's, and Radioshack should have what you need.
