Is it better to have loved and lost it or to have never loved?

And...

Is it better to be loved by someone you don't love or to have loved someone that doesn't love you in return?

I believe that it's better to have loved simply to know that you're capible of the emotion. As far as the second question, I have no clue. I'm still trying to figure that one out. I just want to know what the rest of you think.

I've never been in love - and that's one things that bothers me. Am I even capable of loving someone? I'd like to experience, even once - so I'd know.

And as for the other question, I'd prefer to be the one who loves - then at least I have control of the situation and don't need to impede on the person I love. It hurts, but at least I can ensure they're not bothered by my feelings (am pretty good at bottling, maybe not healthy..;-)

Had too many experiences where the guy was interested and I just didn't have the feelings there and ended up hurting them - I HATE THAT! Almost enough to put me off trying for another relationship and then we come back to first question - is there something wrong with me that I can't feel for these people???

Good questions Snowman!

this is possible. u knw the fact that we cannot or we fear to express our emotions to the person, leads to drastic changes in our life. we just pass by opportunities blinded
