I am disgusted by the way i see other boys at my school act towards girls. Treating them like they are an object, not a human being. A girl is a human being and should be treated equal if not with greater respect than men. Shoving, pushing, hitting girls is wrong and i don't understand why some people think its right.

I agree with you, it's not acceptable behavior.
But, I think there is fault on both sides. Boys should know better than to treat girls like that, that's a given. But those girls are also at fault for implicitly condoning and reinforcing that kind of behavior by constantly seeking out and paying attention to the boys who act that way.
It's kind of like McDonalds. Everybody knows that mcdonalds food is the unhealthiest you can get. Yet, why does it continue to be popular, to turn profits, and thrive in our "informed" society? Sure, you can say that mcdonalds shouldn't produce such unhealthy food. But what about all of the people who keep eating that unhealthy food at mcdonalds? Instead of creating an incentive to stop, they are supporting the production of unhealthy food and actually giving the company a reason to keep going with it!
Back to the case of boys and girls, I think it's one of the unfortunate paradoxes that exist today. Some people say it's self-esteem issues, some say it's upbringing issues or child trauma. Whatever it is, it is definitely a problem.
For any girls who read this and feel that you are in a situation like this, just remember that for every guy out there who treats you like complete crap, there is a nice guy who is willing to treat you like a princess.

I understand what you are talking about; & I share those feelings. I believe all women are beautiful in their own right & they deserve to be treated with respect. I am not a sexist, but sometimes I am ashamed at the way men treat women. Although sometimes women do treat men the same way.

ask the gals to defend for themselve. The guys in ur sch have no rights and respect for the girl.. Maybe the girl willingly let them hit. Guys aint that bad..

easy they were raised wrong ha ha ha and are just sooo un educated don't worry there are guys who would totally kick the living **** out of those kinda guys and not all guys are like that so ya don't worry you just wait and see and i totally agree with thinking that guys should treat girls witgh more respect awesome!!!

wut grade are you in? elementary school? well in elementary school, it cud be possible due to the immaturity... and even in junior high... well mayb those girls are not good girls... or sometihng like that... and i dun really see guys hitting girls in my high school... so idk haha
