It's simple. Read the Bible and ask God to help you understand His Word and give you wisdom to know the truth from the untrue. Also, it states in Revelation that the Anti-Christ will come before the true Christ. The Anti-Christ (Satan) will come at the 6th trump and then the true Christ (Jesus) will come at the 7th trump. For some reason, this confuses people as to who is the real Christ. Well, if the Anti-Christ comes first, like I just mentioned, and he is the first Christ-like being you have ever seen, then you will know that he is the Anti-Christ or False Messiah because none like him has ever been seen and he has come to deceive people into thinking he is Jesus. Then Jesus will come at the 7th trump and people will know he is the true Messiah. If you read Revelation, you will understand all of this. Anti-Christ comes first at the 6th trump; Jesus at the 7th trump. The number 6 comes before 7, no matter what language you speak. If the evil one comes before the Son of God, you will know who he is. And it is said that when Jesus comes, all eyes will see him. I don't know if it says the same for when Satan comes, though. I hope that helps. It's really not as confusing as people like to make it out to be.

Hehe...

Yeah, Read the Bible. Mainly before Jesus dies in Matthew, and the Vision portion of the Revelation. These parts specifically states the signs to the end, and recognizing the anti-christ.

For one, the anti-christ is one who professes himself to be better. Trust me on this, he will act like Christ did, he will do wondrous "miracles," and (!?) he will even quote out of the Bible. (He will. Why, the Satan quoted from the Bible. Know the story when Satan tempted Christ?) However, we must remember who Christ was according to the Bible, and not just from anyone. You must discover who Christ is for yourself by reading His Word. If you do so, He will protect you from being decieved. And pray. Ask God to show himself to you. (not physically...yet)

if it soundstoo good to be true it usually is,
failing that by thier deeds will you know them ,if not all good it is bad
if its easy to understand and good for all and god and creation and it confirms to your truths it is a time to have faith,
if there is but one flaw the fruit might still be sweet but perhaps not ge free.
there is no camp as such its what people can or want to believe.
good is all good ,it mightened be easy [but usually is ] it might be hatrder [but usually isnt]
but it must apply equally to all.
basiclly see that any anti christ will yet be anti our christ ,this is not to mean he hates the son of god ,only hates his fruits of loving god and loving neighbour.loving creation and creator,we shall put none before god ,just as christ refused to allow to be done ,no money changers as faulse gods ,no laws that oppress ,no pain ,no cost but full grace and worth.

There's a good chance you won't know.

Deception is pervasive and subtle even now. I just finished watching (again) the movie "Enron--The Smartest Guys in the Room", and it just astounds me, an accountant, that a corporation can hoodwink the best analysts and bankers in the world with something as unsophisticated as falsified financial statements.

Only one analyst working for Meryl Lynch was able to see Enron's insolvency for ten straight years, and he was fired for rating the company as a stock to "sell".

Out of all the analysts, he was the only one who looked at their "Statement of Cash Flows", one of the four most important and most commonly published financial statement, and that's all it took.

The only thing you have to protect yourself (and this is true of any age or environment) is your values and how important they are to you. If you stick to them, you can't go wrong.

I don't know what your religion is but,
Accordin to islam:

He will be physically misshapen, and will be blind in his left eye. His right eye will be present but it will be dark (black). In a number of hadith he is referred to as one-eyed.ill eat fire and exhale smoke, fly over land and cross seas.

He will deceive the faithful, teaching them that Heaven is Hell and vice versa.

The Arabic letters "Kaf" "Faa" "Raa" (kafir, meaning "disbelieve") will appear on his forehead and will be read by all true Muslims regardless of them being literate or not.

He will be able to see and hear many things in many places.
He will have the power to work miracles in order to mislead believers.

He will try to put man on God's throne.

He will have what appears to be water and fire with him and call them Paradise and Hell: what will seem to be fire will be cold water (or Paradise) and what will seem to be water will be fire (or Hell).

He will claim to be God and will deceive people into thinking that he has risen the dead. One particular person he will kill and then say he will now resurrect him, whereupon Allah will resurrect him. He will not have this power again. In other sources (according to the Hereafter series by Anwar al-Awlaki), a pious man will come from Medina towards The Dajjal, standing on top of Uhud, and courageously accuse The Dajjal of being The Dajjal. The Dajjal then will ask him: "Would you believe me (that I am deity) if I kill you and then resurrect you?". The Dajjal will do that and after the resurrection the pious man will say that he believes in divinity of Dajjal even less now.

Those who reject and refuse to believe in him will suffer drought and famine whereas those who accept him will be living a life of plenty.

Some traditions of Islam relate that he will appear at Isfahan, and that he will rally the Isfahan Jews and many former Muslims and Christians to his support.

He won't be able to enter Mecca or Medina
The Mahdi will fight him in the name of Islam.

He will be killed by Isa(Jesus) near the gate of Ludd'(a) which is today's Israel.

Test the spirits to see if they be of God.

If they speak things which are in direct contrast to the word of God, such as calling an evil thing a good thing.

Not a christian, but i used to be a theologian for the christian faith...

Basically it comes down to this. your faith says that you will know. if he tries to lead you away from christ, then it is the antichrist.
sort of like "i'm positive but i'm not going to talk about Jesus." ....well its positive, right? so its fine....but it's telling me to go to his conference on peace and tolerance instead of going to church...."

But, dont worry about the anti-christ. worry about your relationship with your god and everything will work out. you will know if its wrong, thats what the holy spirit is for.

Try to see if he measures up to this verse:

If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. 5 That prophet or dreamer must be put to death, because he preached rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery; he has tried to turn you from the way the LORD your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you. - Deuteronomy 13:1-5

You guys kill me!

I just read DBznut's answer. That is a truly amusing made-for-tv fairy tale. What a great little story. Where do you guys come up with this stuff!

And you really believe these fables? No wonder humanity is such a mess! The majority don't want to deal with reality, preferring children's stories to logic and analytical thinking.
