Sorry it appears I may have been incorrect...I thought that you could only say "at present I am...."

My pet peeve is the blatent misuse of grammar and spelling, such as spelling "what" as "wut" or "because" as "cuz." It is one thing to have typographical errors when typing fast or when not looking at the screen, but it is a completely different scenario when it is done intentionally and for what some people consider fun. I am glad to know that I'm not the only one. Thanks!

According to the Miriam Webster Dictionary :

Presently: at the present time : NOW

Therefore, you are incorrect, as it means that if i am doing something NOW then I am PRESENTLY doing it, so, you have just been misunderstanding the word the whole time!

OHHHHHHHHHHH INTERESTING!!! BUT HOW CAN PRESENTLY BE FOR THE FUTURE? i MEAN WHEN YOU SAY PRESENT THAT MEANS NOW..."YESTERDAY WAS HISTORY, TOMORROW IS A MYSTERY, TODAY IS A GIFT, THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT THE PRESENT" !!!
i DON'T LIKE WHEN SOMEONE SAYS i been seen that. I GUESS THAT WOULD BE A BAD CASE OF GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY...INSTEAD COULDN'T THEY SAY i saw that. BUT THAT IS JUST STREET TALK i GUESS...i DON'T SEE IT MUCH ANYMORE thank GOD LOL
WHAT ABOUT THE "WORD" A'INT...AINT, AINT A WORD!!! u hear

I think mine is borrow/ lend. People always say hey can you borrow me some money, when the proper usage would be lend. But it is so common now, I try not to get wrung out about it.

how does presently imply the future?

I hate when people say literally incorrectly.
"I'm so hungry i could literally eat a horse."
No.

And "5 cat's" etc.

and many more...

LIKEand BASICALLY
for example:-
"It's like, yeah, really good, like, and I like saw the film four times like, and it, like, really got to me like" (!!)
And the upper class version of this is 'basically'.
Eg: Well, darling, basically, I think we should look into buying the property because basically it's just what we want basically'.
