Teresa is supposedly a good businesswoman, but she appears to be making some mistakes here. This is not Sr's NASCAR anymore. Losing Jr. and Budweiser's $$$ would be a big hit for DEI (not to mention losing Jr's millions of fans). Kelley and Junior inherited their dad's tenacity so I don't see either of them backing down soon. Junior's chief complaint seems to be that Teresa is not talking to him directly. If she doesn't start dealing with Kelley and Junior face-to-face soon, I think he'll take his Budweiser and race for RCR. Junior does not need the money so he could drive for anyone, but I think he will stay with a Chevrolet team and I think RC would hire him in a heartbeat (no pun intended). Junior is the face of the new NASCAR, I'm sure it would pain Mike Helton and others to see him leave DEI, but yes, I think it could happen.

If Theresa doesn't watch it she will lose her gravy train...Dale Jr! Junior is the main reason why DEI is still around today and Theresa better open her eyes and realise that if Jr leaves that DEI will crumble.

Theresa doesn't care about the racing, all she cares about is the money. Dale Sr built DEI for this children to have part of Nascar..NOT FOR THERESA TO BE LIVING IN THE LAP OF LUXURY OFF OF HIS SON! Theresa doesn't even attend the races yet she wants to question Dale Jr?

If Jr does leave DEI in 2008 I hope he goes to Joe Gibbs racing. Could you imagine Dale Jr, Denny Hamlin and Tony Stewart on the same team? Now that would be a great racing team. And if Jr leaves then his sponsors are gonna leave and something tells me that Martin Truex Jr might leave as well. Truex and Jr are best friends and Jr gave Martin his shot and Martin has said that he owes a lot to Dale Jr!

Theresa needs to step aside and let someone else run DEI because she is ruining the company.

I hope he does. I thikn it will be neat seeing ole Jr. in the #3 Budweiser car racing for RCR. I think if Jr. leaves you will see a company much like RCR was in 2002 until last last year, losing the biggest superstar of the sport and trying to rebuild. Truex Jr. would have to step up and be the limelight of that company, lord knows it won't be Paul Menard.

He will if mommy-dearest doesn't quit yakking and let people do what people do best, & that's running a race car & a racing team & he will take one of the biggest sponsers with him, Budweiser. No wonder Michael Waltrip did what he did. My favorite driver of all time was Dale Sr. - he made this so his children would be set for life. I'm not a Jr. fan, but it's time to not feel sorry for mom anymore. She seems to be doing just fine. Jr needs to do what he needs to do.

Why would Dale Earnhardt Jr., leave Dale Earnhardt Incorporated? That's his own company, he would lose millions of dollars right there. Besides D.E.I.'s best driver is Earnhardt Jr.

I don't think he will, but he should. He would have a much better chance at the chase and a championship if he went with Childress. And as far as sponsorship....do you really think Budweiser would not follow him no matter where he went. He is the ultimate face of their beer. He owns the rights to the #8, which he purchased years ago from the guy who bought it from his grandfather. So i am sure he would have no problem with budweiser following him and the #8.

I think he should leave and go drive for Richard Childress just like his dad did. I was a big fan of his dads. I think Teresa is just to much and like Jr. says, he needs a better car to drive so he can win.

No If Teresa fires him or if Jr leaves because of her than she was never a good wife to Dale Sr because thats why he built DEI, he built to continue his son's and the Earnhardt legacy

I think so. There has been a friction between him and Teresa for quite some time. With the resurgence of RCR, now would be a great time for that move but it won't happen until next year.

I think he would be better off if he got out of DEI just to get away from the shadow of his father. He is a good driver and I think there would be so much less pressure on him if he went to another team.Jr needs to be Jr and not have to fullfill all the insanely high expectations that he indures with DEI. I am not a Jr. fan but this is one of the better drivers and he deserves to prove that with another team.
