As for the connection between the Easter bunny and Jesus?

There is none. This is just another case of Christianity piggy-backing on another religion's holiday, namely the European Pagans. Around the same time in the Pagan calendar, is a spring holiday devoted to fertility. which eggs and bunnies are a symbol of.

and the Romans were actually the ones who killed Jesus, not the Jews. Any credible religious historian knows that this myth came about at a time when Christianity was trying to makes itself popular with the Romans. It was in the Christians best interest to make Jesus out to be an enemy of the Jews, rather than Rome. It was a PR move, basically. And there's no evidence for it in the historical record.

It was logical for Christians to choose this time of the year to celebrate the resurrection of christ. It coincides with the Pagan Ostara, which is the spring festival of fertility and renewed life, therefore the symbolic use of eggs and rabbits! Because Christians believe that Jesus rose from the dead, they decided to infiltrate an already established custom, even though it is Pagan. Apparently Easter is an English translation of the German term Ostern. There is also the goddess Eostre who is worshipped during this period. It has German pagan origins.
It is a time of the year, in the northern hemisphere, when animals are pro-creating and trees are bearing their fruit. Eggs have an obvious symbolysm with fertility and renewed life. It is very significant within Pagan culture.

Jesus was Jewish and lived in ancient Israel and was put to death by Roman soldiers. Many Easter customs, such as spring egg fertility rites, predate Christianity were incorporated into Christianity at a later date.
A sad association of Easter and Jews is the horrible assertion of blood libel, when priests would falsely accuse Jews of human sacrifice to obtain ingredients for the Passover matzoh from the blood of Christian children. This would often lead a local population to attack and often murder their Jewish neighbors.
The concept of blood libel and false accusations of human sacrifice by neighboring peoples also predates Christianity.

Jesus couldn't have Mexican. He replaced into born and raised in Jerusalem, which isn't on the fringe of Mexico. I heavily doubt that the Easter Bunny is Jewish because Easter is a Christian faith. i guess there is no data that Santa isn't black, yet pondering how he would not exist, there is no data that he's white.

Easter was a pagan tradition when it first began. It had nothing to do with the jews killing Jesus. It was a celebration of life when spring came. Christians later adopted Easter as a symbol of a new beginning to coincide with the resurrection of Jesus.

Romans killed Jesus. Easter bunnies are decorations for the season and don't have anything to do with Jesus or Jews.

Long before Jesus, Easter was about the return of Springtime, hence eggs and bunnies and other 'fertility' type symbols.

The Romans are the ones who killed Jesus.

The Easter Bunny/eggs thing actually has nothing to do with the true meaning of Easter (Jesus rising from the dead).

Since it is considered a joyous occasion, it is a tradition to color eggs in happy & bright colors and give pleasant treats, and to welcome in the coming Spring season at that time (to celebrate the "rebirth" of mother nature).
