IT's kind of a scary question, never really thought about it until I came to this board because a lot of "Christian's"(not all of course there's some great one's out there who are respectful and nice) but anyway some christians on the board throw and toss evil words to people out of mean-spiritedness, made me wonder if some of the "christian's" are in fact posessed by an evil spirit of some sort
(the nice one's not talking about you, just the born agan hypocrites)
I think they need an exorcism

to name a daemon is to bind it... since that is all their name is, a binding word.

I don't know if this is entirely correct, but I think a few of them are Beelsibab (sp?), Legion, and Nero. I think those names have been mentioned in various places in the Bible as names of demons. You should also see the movie The Exorcism Of Emily Rose. There is a part in the movie where Father Moore goes after Emily when she runs to the barn and he attempts, for the umpteenth time, to get the demons to identify themselves. The names I just mentioned are mentioned in that part of the movie, but in Aramaic with sub titles. And obviously no, I am not afraid to type in these names, lol.

Being strong in my faith has nothing to do with whether or not I know any demons by name. Personally, since I do not converse on a egular basis with them, I find it really doesn't matter to me what their names are if they even have them. Although I am sure they must. I only know a couple of angels names and that is because they are specifically named in the bible but I am sure there are millions more that I do not have names for. I only concern myself with knowing God and Jesus' names.

In the bible it doesn't really mention the names of demons, other than the many names of satan himself. Not to mention anyone that would say they have asked a demon it's name during an exorcism or what-not, I wouldn't buy that either. Considering that demons are satans minions, what makes you think they would tell the truth anyway?

Actually, no, the Bible doesn't have the specific names of demons in it other than Satan/Lucifer.
And, you are correct, being strong in my faith I am not afraid to list the names of specific demons. However, I would like to know your motives? I do not belive they are as pure as idle curiosity. So tell me, what are the names of the ones you currently have residing within you? Just remember, no matter who they are, "Greater is He that is in me." My master is Jesus Christ and He can set you free if you choose to serve Him and Him alone. He loves you and wants to rescue you from the torment you are living in.

The Bible does not mention the name of any demons. When Satan left heaven he took 1/3 of the angels with him. These angels became demons that roam the earth today.
Its no surprise that people still get possessed today. It isn't that obvious to us, well our age of time, but look at today from when you were 5 how ever long ago it may have been... it still makes you say.. yeah the world has gotten pretty evil.
Demons. We Don't know all of their names.. and like I said, I don't think we know any besides Satan/Lucifer himself

In religion, folklore, and mythology a demon (or daemon, dæmon, or even daimon) is a supernatural being that has generally been described as a malevolent spirit. A demon is frequently depicted as a force that may be conjured and insecurely controlled. The "good" demon in recent use is largely a literary device (e.g., Maxwell's demon), though references to good demons can be found in Hesiod and Shakespeare. In common language, to "demonize" a person means to characterize or portay them as evil, or as the source of evil.
Although I am not Christian, I just did some research for you. Hope it helps.

You will not find most of these names in the bible but you will find a lot of them in 1 Enoch (a book of the Apocrypha). But if you read Leviticus 16:8 in Hebrew, the word Azazel is used for scapegoat. And Azazel is a demon.
""Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats, one lot for the LORD and the other lot for the [a]scapegoat." - Leviticus 16:8

Good question! As a non-churchgoer, but believer in God, I was surprised I didn't know the answer.
Here are some sites, but I didn't have time to look at them thoroughly.
