For several months now I have been getting soreness in my feet. Some days it's worse than others. BUT, I have been experiencing soreness all through my feet so bad that when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom, they hurt so bad I can hardly walk. I am just wondering what is causing this or if anyone else has experienced this? I have noticed walking on them for long periods of time I get the pain in my feet also it happens while I am sleeping to where I can hardly walk like I mentioned earlier. The pain IF I had to describe it almost feels like they are bruised. There is no discoloration in them so I know they arent bruised. I just am starting to get concerned and wonder what is causing this pain. I have also accidentally hit my foot on something when I am experiencing this pain and it hurts so badly it almost makes me cry and I have a high pain tolerance normally. Any ideas of what could be wrong?

You may actually have bruised your feet beleive it or not. Think, have u made a big jump, or worn different shoes? anything that could have caused this? ...Im a skateboarder, and Ive experienced this same thing many times, it is bruised inside, but there is not usually discoloration because the skin on ur feet is tough, and its deeper than that. If the pain continues for more than a week, go to the doctor, or u can even try reflexology, as feet have a lot of nerve endings, the problem might actually be rooted somewhere else in your body but u feel the pain in ur feet.

Plantar fasciitis usually develops gradually, but it can come on suddenly and be severe. Plantar fasciitis can affect both feet, but it usually occurs in only one foot at a time. Watch for:

Sharp pain in the inside part of the bottom of your heel, which may feel like a knife sticking in the bottom of your foot
Heel pain that tends to be worse with the first few steps after awakening, when climbing stairs or when standing on tiptoe
Heel pain after long periods of standing or after getting up from a seated position
Heel pain after, but not usually during, exercise
Mild swelling in your heel

Sounds a lot like Gout to me.

The primary symptom is severe pain at and around the joint. Some patients describe it "crushing" or resembling a dislocated bone. The area can be so tender that walking and even the weight of bed sheets can be unbearable. One writer described gout in the toe as "walking on my eyeballs." The pain usually takes eight to 12 hours to develop. In many cases the attack occurs late at night or early in the morning and announces itself by waking the sufferer.

I have the same problem. I have been to the doc. They gave me exercise to stretch the muscles.Did not help. The thing that helped the most was new balance tennis shoes.
