Are all guys intimidated by tall, well built, confident women?

I'm 5'11 and while not fat, am well built and quite curvy. I'm sick of feeling like I'm intimidating every guy I meet - I get the feeling they all love the petite little ones 'cause of the whole "macho protector roll". I don't need to be protected, just respected by a guy who is comfortable enough in his own skin not to be intimidated. Do all guys like the cute little ones - or are there guys out there who aren't afraid of biting off a little more... ;-)

I don't know what everyone likes or prefers--everyone has a favorite-for whatever reason. I would bet that intimidation is the wrong word for what you have described--there are some men that are actually attracted but insecure about approaching you. Statuesque women draw the eyes and stir the emotions----I guess you haven't met a real man that can appreciate a real woman--I like a woman who makes me stand up straight and exude all the dignity and confidence. Be proud and walk tall. I wish I knew where you were. It isn't the protector thing---they just seem bigger to a small woman---like guys who buy big trucks...or red Corvettes. All insecurities. I would be happy and proud to walk with a 5 11 beauty.

I wouldnt be able to comment on the whole 5'11 thing, but i am 5'7 - 5'8 and i consider myself to be tall for a woman. I get a lot of attention because height is always a good thing; a curve with it too, but of course not to the point where you look like a giant.
I do feel intimidation from most of men but there is a lot out there that dont get intimidated for a simple fact that they are tall enough for you to be in nice heels. You should go for men like that. There are plenty of them out there that have game, body and are not intimidated. Those are the best ones to have too because they are more confident and not scared to talk to you. You dont want an insecure dude anyways so let all them lil boys go and start looking for a real man that know what he want.

I love tall women, height doesnt bother me. I once dated a woman who was 6'7. It felt weird at first, but I got over it, and we had a good time. What bothered me most about the whole thing is, i mean, i get attention enough myself, being 7'0, but imagine the comments and stares a 6'7 woman would get. I felt bad for her, because it obviously affected her more than it does me. Im used to the comments and stares, but I dont think she had gotten to that point yet. I tried to instill in her that she was beautiful and i would remind her everyday that her height wasnt a curse but a wonderful blessing from the same God that created the sun, moon, earth. The same God that brings the rain to grow flowers, trees, etc...I would tell her that she was God's creation and those that didnt understand that or looked at her as some freakish thing, dont deserve to have eye sight, because they couldnt appreciate the beauty she possessed, all they saw was a real tall woman and made ignorant comments. Her esteem wasnt high, and she couldnt overcome this obstacle in her life. I dont know where she is now, but i hope she's doing well. She had an amazing heart and i really enjoyed myself with her. The world can be cruel sometimes to those that arent the "norm". Anyway, no all guys arent intimidated by tall women, just insecure, immature, no confidence having, men. Id like to ask those who do read this to remember when you see a woman thats as tall as the questioner, or my friend, to keep your comments to yourself...they hear it all the time and it does them more harm than good...show some respect and empathy.

You sound exactly like me as I share the same sentiments. I'm 5'11 and far from being a rake thinn model...coz i have got curves not fat but those normal things that may seem to make you look fat. Like boobs, butt and hips. But I guess you're much luckier ....as I am Singaporean which makes me tower almost everyone from where I come from. Girls around me are mostly smaller in size and having hips is considered fat!
I hardly had guys hitting on me though I have received compliments about my aesthetic and intellectual appeal. Intimidation was the word most often given by the opposite sex as they felt much smaller to me. So sometimes their stares makes me feel like I am abnormal.

Personally, I have never bitten off more than I could chew. However, there have been times when I might have had more in my mouth than needed. As far as being tall, all a guy has to do is get you lying down and everything should be quite easy to reach. If you want me to prove this, you might get in touch.

no, not all guys are that way-- i'm not intimidated by you and do not take this wrong-- but if guys would look through the plastic surgery, silicone, and hair dye-- most women are beautiful inside and outside appearances are just cosmetic-- women are just pretty little girls who grew up to become ladies and moms
