Does everyone have an autopsy done? Once autopsies are done is it possible to have an open casket funeral?

No everyone does not have an autopsy. It is usually done if there is a question about the reason for death. Yes it is possible to have an open casket after an autopsy in some cases but not all. As for what happens after that....the body slowly decays.

i dont think every one gets autopsy, unless they suspect some one had killed you or if they are not sure what is the reason why you die.
or maybe im ignorant on this.
when you die, the worms eat your body :) good fest for them!
and bad luck to you LOL.
if you have jesus in your heart you go to heaven. or sleep waiting for Jesus come back to take you with him when your entire body will be renewed in a new a different one. to live with jesus 1000 years more.( millenium)
IF you don't then you will wait for the judgment day when all your goods and bad will be judged.
If you have too many bad ones probably will go to hell straight , no helps.
If you were really bad then you ave jesus you have to wait for the judgement day too.

Not everyone needs one done. It is possible to have an open casket. I hate those...they are creepy.

not everyone needs one, unless you where murdered etc.
you can have an open casket if you want
