I'm 14 and i weigh about 200 lbs, and i am 5'3. I've been overweight since i was 7. I've tried losing weight many times since then. My whole family is overweight, and i have depression so i think that has a big role in why i haven't been able to lose weight. I have even gone to a nutrisionist and i use to run on my treadmill. Nothing has worked. I'm now home schooled because everyone makes fun of me because of my weight. I really need help, I want to lose weight so that i can go back to school by next year. I start high school next year, and i want to be able to go without everyone making fun of me.. So please if there are any diet pills that are proven to work, tell me about them. And no nasty comments, i beg of you, i hv had enough of those.

I have try Dietex From Vpx and Lipodrene from hi-tech pharmacies. But only get little results. The most effective way is to workout and exercise more and eat healthy that way you can lose weights.

There are NO diet pills that work! The "diet pills" that are advertised and suggested below are dangerous (even the herbals and "diet supplements") and certainly NOT appropriate for you at 14. There are NO "quick fixes"; I know because I have battled a weight problem now for about 50+ years. You need to see a physician (specialists in Bariatrics) and get a COMPLETE physical. Sometimes weight gain can be due to hormones, chemical imbalances, medications...Everyone I've known who has successfully lost weight and kept it off went to Weight Watchers; I'm sure they have a teen program. There is also Overeaters Anonymous - they also have teen programs. You CAN whip this; it is VERY, VERY hard, but you CAN do it! The other thing that can change your life is finding an physical activity you enjoy; walking, riding a bike, swimming even dancing (which happens to be my personal favorite - I like Hip Hop and dance by myself when I'm alone). It sounds like a treadmill is not for you. You have to find something that is truly fun to do; that will keep your interest and give you a sense of well being and success. Also, there's the "Y"; if finances is a problem ask about financial assistance - it DOES exist.

bcause you are so young, you should not be taking any diet pills unless under supervision by you family doc. there are lots of diet pills that do work- and although they may seem like an easy, quick fix, they can be dangerous, and you can't take them forever. all diet pills do is supress your appetite (+plus some give you energy). so, say you did use diet pills, lost a bunch of weight, and then stopped the pills (most have directions on the bottle stating that you must stop use after a few months), the likelyhood of you gaining the weight back is very high because you had not learned to eat properly or exercise regularly. diet pills have tons of possible negative side effects. they can even be addictive. i know you said that you have already tried everything else, but i would urge you to try exercise and a healthy, low fat diet again. a good way to lose a few pounds fast, and start motivating yourself, is to do a no/low carb diet for a few weeks (maybe 2).email me if you would like more help. g/l sweetie!

I have been through the same problem most of my life I am 46 now and in pretty good shape. When I was 19 I weighed in at 315 lbs. I have not really had any good experience with pills alone. You need to exercise so you can get your heart beating faster. Do some cardiovascular not just the treadmill do various exercises. Get involved with a group or go to a gym you will find it easier with people in a similar situation. I found myself losing the most weight when I would nibble or eat 5-6 small meals daily and eat lots of veggies. Good Luck

not unless you ask your doctor about the pill that allows for very little fat consumption...(i do not know the name of it, but it works to flush the fat out of the body before the body stores it) however, they will not give a pill like that unless you are at least 30 pounds over weight and your bmi outcome.

as far as over the counter pills....basically they are nothing but caffiene and fillers.

the trick if you notice is they say to drink an 8 ounce glass with one or two pills right before a meal.

the gimmic is "water". if you drink a normal glass of water with no pills and 8 ounces at that, you will eat a normal meal, however, the water will make you feel fuller, faster, thus in turn, causing you to eat less. the other idea too is that the colder the water, the more it will rev up your systems way to burn calories.

don't buy into the diet craze. don't waste your money. just pour yourself a glass of ice water before each meal and you will see what i'm talking about.

good luck.

Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").

The Hoodia sold at http://tinyurl.com/y389on is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.

I would take ephedrine. You can get it at a lot of gas stations. They took it off the market because a lot of people were not using it right and taking to much so just take the dose it says to be safe and well it will say ephedrine and say it is for bronchial asthma but it has the same thing the diet pills had except the caffine and asprin in it. I take it and it has been working great for me. But like I said they can only sell it as a medication and not a dietary supplement but works the same just a way to detour people from taking it. Good Luck!!!

Actually excercise is the best with a food control diet. But for an overweight, I understand with your problems. Hard!!! For me, I recommend Reductil 15 mg, it always work for me. It will reduce your appetite to eat. You can still eat, but you don't have the appetite :) Maybe for you, it will not have any affect for the first few days, let the pill adapt to your body and you'll feel the usage. However, before you use it, it is advisable to ask your doctor first, if you can ok, eventhoug it is safe. Or at least read the label first. Good Luck. You can do it, Angel :-)

When I was in High School I used Stacker 2 and those cut my appetite a little so I lost some weight but if you really were on a diet and running and weren't losing ANY weight...I would suggest seeing a doctor...my mother was running 2 miles a day and only eating like 1200 cals a day and didnt lose any weight and she went to her doctor and she ended up with a thyroid problem...he put her on thyroid meds to regulate it and she lost like 80 pounds in 4 months...so I would just check into it to make sure...

Simply put, I'd say no. The only consistently proven method of weight loss is through diet (a good, balanced one) and exercise.
However, there are things you can take that will make it easier to exercise.
First of all, a multivitamin is good for a lot of things.
Then, ginseng (try it in tea... mmmmmm....XD) helps (me) to think more clearly and use my mind to get my body to mind me. *wink*

Then, always make sure to drink a lot of WATER or tea (minus sugar is best). Sports drinks are pointless.
Finally, I hate to say it (except not), but making sure your diet is based on whole grains, vegetables, fruit, and all things high-fiber and low-fat, is the best way to go.
