I have a big dance tonight and went with this guy that I like and I was talking with him and he told he that he doenst like anyone at our school because be thinks it is pointless to date someone at the same school. And so that pretty puck mean I dont have a chance. Do I just forget him and move on or do I keep my hopes up? What to do?

I'd say, if he were into you, he wouldn't have given that answer to a question that YOU DIRECTLY asked him.
For examp., he might say that to a teacher or a group of guys that ask "why don't you have a girlfriend?" because it would seem "cool" to give that answer to satisfy those people.
But, to a girl who directly asks him, an answer like that should be considered a straight up one.
I say move on.
But, more importantly, don't worry too much about finding a "new crush". You can forget about him, but you don't necessarily need a new guy to dwell on.
Spend time doing things you love.
That will make you happier than a guy who tells you "dating during school is pointless." :)
I'm sure you are a lover of life! When you love life, life loves you back.

Move on. If he's just playing games and realizes that he's making a mistake, he can always give you a holla. Then the ball is in your court and maybe you'll be interested and maybe you won't.

I honestly think that for him to say that, he really isnt intersted. But if you really lke him though, I think theres no harm in making him realize that...hey, its not pointless at all;)

still try going for him sometimes poeple start getting feelings for someone if you like him. give clues away like get close to him or play around with him like maybe tickle him =] also dress nice and SMELL GOOD!! sometimes when guys smell good they hypnotize me into liking them lmao. but yeahh do that stuff and i guarantee you you will have his heart ;]
