We have the Tanakh and the Talmud.
The Tanakh is the "Jewish Bible." It contains the Torah, the writings of the Prophets, and the Writings (Psalms and etc)
The Talmud is the Oral Law written down and the commentary by the rabbis.
And no. Some will tell you that it does, but you can't really understand verses taken out of context.

What a strange question. The old testament of the Bible is the holy book of the Jews. Christian beliefs were build on top of Jewish beliefs. There is no more advocacy of war or violence than the "new" bible.

Jews use the Old Testament, the Talmud, and the Torah. They do not believe in the New Testament. The Old Testament *commands* the Jews to exterminate all of the Canaanites. I have never yet read an opinion from a Jew who believes that the Canaanite massacre actually occurred and who denounces it. In fact, on the Internet, I have found Rabbis who lament the "unfortunate" fact that some Jews were merciful and allowed a few Canaanites to survive. These Rabbis believe that "G-d" cursed the Jews for this reason. What was their crime? They were polytheists and "idolaters."

Simply, if you have read the first half of the "Christian" Bible, you have also read the first half of the holy books of Islam and Judaism. All three religions came from teh same place and same source and same events.
Where they differe is their beliefs of regarding Jesus Christ.
God never really didadvocate war or tell people they should fight. But he did at times start wars and take part in wars, which makes it hard to say do as I say not as I do. If Jesus said it, it should be good enough for God, no? Just my 2c

Their holy book is basically the "Torah", and as long as it's been subjected to corruption and fabrication through out ages, it does advocate violence and war against everybody other than Jews.
