I'll tell you straight out I don't believe in this or god. Please think about this though. How will we know when or if Jesus returns, will he throw a party, and who would believe him. When someone says they're Jesus we automaticallly assume they're not. Is he going to float down on NYC through the clouds? When a homeless man says he's Jesus we all automatically asume he's not even though he could be Jesus. Jesus may have returned thousands of times without us knowing. I'm Jesus, do you think I'm lying?

I liked both of you answers, but who says that is all true? If it is I'm scared shitless because he'll kick my butt.

When Jesus comes back, supposedly (and this is just what I heard) , He is suppose to be kicking butt and taking names. I think we will be able to recognize him cause of how ticked off he is at all of us sinners. Actually this is how you will recognize him, He'll be riding a white horse:

"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter."[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. " - Revelation 19:11-16

No man is a island. The basis of most religions is to weaken the individuals ego in order to force him to get along with his fellow man and thus reduce the pain of not being a god themself. Take any religion and you will see the 'teachings' to be similar philosophies which are generally accepted as good for the whole. I take it you still think murder is wrong, right? Enforcers like Jesus are created much like the reason we learn to crawl before we walk. You have educated yourself enough to commit heresy, but yet your question shows you are still unsure about your disbelief. My solution is this. Try to be a better person, try to be less selfish and avoid false gods such as the 7 deadly sins. If there is a heaven or hell, then in the end its your actions not your beliefs that define you. If there isn't a heaven or hell, then when you get old you can look back on your life and see you were a positive influence on the world. You will know when Jesus comes. There will also be signs, destructions and stuff like that. The righteous will be spared but the wicked will be killed. But i believe that when we look into the face of our savior we will know who he is and praise his name.
