Well you said the doc gave him a shot & antibiotics...sometimes that will change the bodies smell some, and the other cat may just be sensitive to the smell & not like it. I wouldn't worry about it too much though, as once the meds are out of the other cats system, i'm sure they will go back to being fine with each other. Oh, one more thought...Since the one cat is older, if it's not been fixed, it may be started to set it's "alpha status" with the other one....usually if they get fixed, it gets much better.

I think you need a . in there somewhere. It's totally normal for cats to act this way, the one from the vet smells odd and the other one doesn't understand why the sick one disappeared, then came back with this funny smell. It will pass in a day or two.

Well, when your cat was at the vets he probably picked up some very strange smells like other cats. It will pass, just give them some time. If possible...can you give the cat a bath with baby shampoo? That might eas the tention a little.

Animals can sense when another animal is sick. I would just focus on your sick pet, take him to the vet. The other brother will be fine. Make sure the other one isn't sick too. What you should do is treat them for the same thing since they are so close they will spread whatevers goig around.

That's TOTALLY normal. You're right. He smells the other animals on him. Cats have very sensitive smells and the vet has animals in there every day all day. It'll be fine before you know it.
