for the same reason human babies do. it's just a diaphram spasm. it is not serious and is perfectly normal. some dogs like babies just seem prone to them. there is no really known cause. and with young animals it is not bothersome to them, just to the person watching.

Nothing to worry about. Puppies get hiccups a lot and outgrow them. It will have them when it is older, once in awhile.
But it's still pretty cute when they have them.

Because when they eat they gulp air making them "hic up"

'Cause he's a baby, and he probably does it after eating too fast. He'll outgrow it.
