Most of the songs are really sweet and say stuff like I don't know how to say I love you and I can't so with out you... and... how he can't breathe when I'm around... Am I reading into things?
I really like this guy so I'm assuming that I am and that he has his eye on someone better... but I don't know. What do ya'll think?

Well... I asked him to make me a mixed CD because I need new music... but all of the songs said things that led me to believe that he might like me... but guys that I like never like me back... so why should they start now? I dunno.

Anybody that makes a CD for someone else usually puts a lot of time and effort into it. Chances are he may have looked at his song collection and decided that those were the type of songs that you would like from his collection. If you like all those songs means he picked well, just remember a guy giving you songs may have just been trying to pick the style you like from what he knows of you. There is a strong possibility that he does like you but even if he is a little shy don't push him, when he is ready he will tell you. You could even just sit down and talk with him, got for a coffee or something you never know. Even next time you are in his car, pick the music and put on the music he picked. Chances are if he likes you he'll probably start blushing pretty bad.

Well if he did put some romantic songs there, it could be that he could actually like you. Maybe look for other signs. If you are not sure, maybe ask your friends to find out if he likes someone. Or just ask him if he likes you it does not hurt to ask.
