The Watchtower teaches that only 144,000 will go to heaven but this is taught by taking scripture out of context. At one time, this organization taught that everyone in it would go to heaven and only those that were in it would (this alone should send up red flags. Soon someone realized there were more then 144,000 in this group so they had to come up with some "new revelation" fast. Thus they came up with the big flock on Earth and the little flock (144,000) in heaven even though JESUS said there would be ONE flock and ONE shepherd.
Oh...the 144,000 are JEWISH MALES because there are 12,000 out of each tribe. (Rev 7:4-8)
Now to the question...how can you be saved and go to heaven....it is by the ONLY way to get there...trusting Jesus Christ for full payment for you sin. One thing...it has to be the Christ of the Bible because any other be it the Jesus some say was satans brother or others say was Michael the archangel is a FALSE CHRIST. Jesus said in John 8:24 unless you believe that I AM you will die in your sin. He declared in no uncertain terms that HE was and is GOD. Even the Jews that heard Jesus make that statement understood this because they wanted to stone Him for making Himself to be GOD

Anyone who wants to can be saved. John 3:16 says" For God so loved THE WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". John6:37 says"the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out". Mathew 11:28-30 says
"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.
For My yoke is easy, and My load is light."
The 144,000 are going to be 144,000 jewish missionaries during the tribulation period who are preaching the gospel. It doesn't mean that there won't be other people saved.

The 144 is supposed to be soldiers of sort. I believe Jewish males totaling 144,000.

If you have except Jesus into your heart and you truly believe that God raised him from the dead then you are save and your home is in Paradise with him.
Remember on the cross where one thief cursed Jesus but the other one asked Jesus to remember him .
And Jesus answered him and said this day shall you be with me in paradise.
So you see dear you are safe the 144,000 has nothing to do with you are I you are safe if you truly have taken the Lord Jesus into your heart as your Lord and savior

If you read the heading to that in the Bible, you'll notice that it says '144,000 from 12 Jewish Tribes'...ok, not exactly that, but that's what it's about!

The 144,000 will be witneses witnessing for Jesus during the tribulation, and thes witness's will be Jews who are hand picked by God to bring the Jews to Salvation for Jesus.Those who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. I am not a Jehovahs witness, thak goodness, I am a Christian who loves Jesus and the Father very much, and that is an understatement. I am saved by grace, not works, lest no one should boast.

Sweetie! Calm yourself down...there are people in this question that is making it worse by lying to you that there is no God, when there is and He is wanting to take you in His arms and give you peace! You are confused and the devil is having a hay day with your mind here! You need prayer, please find a church as soon as tomorrow, look in your phone book. Please, please! Do not blow off God...He loves you and wants to take care of you, you just have to figure out how to get to Him.

that's 144000 superstitious Christians. Superstitious Muslims can be saved by the millions, and they all get the same 70 virgins.
but normal people can be saved by their physician, life saver at the beach, or by a friend.
