After reading around, I've found that many people on Yahoo Answers aren't very supportive or understanding of fetishes, kinks, or BDSM. Seems to be a rather vanilla, monotonous crowd. It's very unforunate, in my opinion - I would have liked this to be a more open minded community.

The people on YA are overly conservative regarding everything. Ever been to the Politics forum? Every day there is the Republican National Convention!

I don't think the people here are as conservative as you think. Some people have taken a liberal stance in the past, only to be reported by another user and then penalized. So people "hold back" in order to avoid getting in trouble.

yes! what the hell is the use of asking questions if people are too sensitive and afraid to put their feelings aside enough so they can just honestly answer the dam* question. instead of answering the question, they try to make someone feel guilty for asking, ask whatever you want, suffer the consequences but ask if you want to know, u can't change peoples reactions

Yes, to an extent. I don't think someone is going to come out and ask how babies are made even if they don't know how. But yes think they try to keep answers and questions clean and a little vague.

yes people here are very close-minded and judgemental. there are probably a lot of hipocrits and haters!
