I say the reasonability of one decreases as your salary and prestige increases.
If you are a cashier and you want to date one of the bag boys I say go for it.
If you are a CFO looking to bone the secretary...not advisable.

Been there and done that---I find any relationship is a personal issue and not subject to what others have done---good--bad--or indifferent. If you can work together and the company has no issue---great!! Some people can work together---some can't and need the time away for that separation and personal space. Everyone is different---do your own thing if you can without trouble with the boss---have fun and a great life.

I've had some really good friends that were co-workers. It's ok for some to date as well because it works for them. It would never work for me because I am more of a private person.

I've had a plenty in my day and they're not worth it. It's almost inevitable that you break up with the person then you have to see them at work which is uncomfortable as hell. It's easier to just find someone you don't work with to date.

I dont know about that one. I mean that it is ok if you all get along good and there is no freak out over friends at work. Personaly I look at it like this don't sh*t where you eat. If you know what I mean.

If it's not against company policy, they're just as good as any other relationship...except that if you work directly with that individual, time-to-self is very limited.

Whatever floats your boat. I think its harder on women because of gossip and the double standard, and it should never occur when there is a disparage of power

If you cannot resist from this person then go for it, but if you do not see it working out well then stop. It can turn out messy!

It can be awkward. Usually when someone wants to break it off it gets uncomfortable.
