I think you should try something that the both of you would enjoy. It shouldn't be just for her, but for you as well seeing as it will be a joint relationship and it's a huge milestone in both of your lives. Well maybe take her somewhere that is special, such as somewhere that she may have mentioned in a conversation you had when you first started to go out. If you pay attention enough on her reactions to movies or things that people say, you can get a sense of feel for her and what she likes and will react to. I'm sure she will appreciate any way you propose. If you are going through this much stress, you shouldn't. It should just come straight from the heart and be a representation of what you feel. It really doesn't have to be something extravagant, just the two of you in an intimate place and at a perfect time. Good luck with this. It's a big deal and if you put your heart into it, she will fall in love with you all over again.

Oh there are SO many ways...

1. Like in the movies: take her to dinner at a VERY nice restaurant and put the ring in her dessert.

2. Have a family dinner and surprise her with it.

3. Take a trip and propose to her at a pretty setting: mountains, beach, etc.

4. At a game of some sort...on the big screens!

See the list could go on forever. It is whatever suits your taste. Good Luck and Congrats!

When I proposed to my fiancée, I took something that was special to us and used that when I proposed. We went out to dinner, then took a walk under the stars, something that we have done since are first date. It was during our walk that I got down on my knees and asked her. It took her surprise and she was unable to answer me for10 seconds.

Your proposal is something that will be remembered for the test of your lift. Something you will have to tell over and over to both families. Hope this is able to help you.

My fiance took me to the Kemah Boardwalk (resturants, ferris wheel, boardwalk on gulf of mexico). Well we were trying to decide where to eat dinner, and he said we should just walk down the boardwalk and decide. We sat down to watch the boats, and all of a sudden I felt him get reallllly nervous (it was sooo cute). In the 3 years we had been dating I never saw him act so weird, so I figured he was about to do something. Well, I purposely looked behind me at the ferris wheel and went babbling on about how we should ride it. When I looked back, he was on one knee in front of me with the ring box open. Everyone around us (like 20 people) gathered around and watched him propose. When I saw ho big the ring was I said "Oh my god, no" and he looked at me funny...then I was like "No..Yessss Yesss!" Everyone around was smiling. After that we went and ate at Saltgrass Steak House. It was the cutest, most memorable thing ever! On the water (which means so much to both of us), and in public for the world to see how much he loves me!

Good Luck! I wish ya'll the best!
