We al should know by now that Mary and joseph are from Egypt, and that he is a man of color. Jesus was not balck, but had African anscestry. And of course people will say it dosent matter what color he was, but yes it does, because why not tell the truth, obviously it did matter that much for them to make him in the image of whites.

Because Christianity flourished most in countries that were dominated by people who were white. There would be no way to reckon with the sense of divine superiority they felt over other "races" with the fact that Jesus was not white himself.

Simply put, it was easier to change inconvenient truths than to give up some of their power and promote equality.

Im uh tell you like a wise woman told me "do you really expect for someone who is white to make a movie portraying jesus as anything other than white? If you want to see a black or Jesus of color in movies, make one". And as a matter of fact there is a really good independent movie out there called "Son of Man"...i suggest you check it out. Not only are you going to get a realistic account of who Jesus was and what he stood for, you will see him in the way he was/is supposed to be, as a black man/"man of color".

i do not imagine that is that enormous of a deal. maximum human beings are white, the action picture replaced into made in usa, for this reason Jesus is white interior the action picture! If the action picture were made in Korea, He'd be Asian. If it were made in Nigeria, He'd be black. in the journey that they had to be sensible regardless of the reality that, they could have casted an Arab for the section! Jesus is brown, not black or white. it really is person-friendly to discern out from the bible.

Jesus was a Jew.He was brown, every picture I ever saw of Him till I came to California he was brown. When I moved here I saw a blue eyed ,blond picture of him.Suffer Jesus.
I am white ,with a dash of American Indian.I could care less what color my savior is.If its about color to you,you need to get back to the cross.
I hear many people say Jesus is this race or that race.Jesus was a Jew ,born in Nazarene.Son of God and the virgin Mary. But please show me one pure race.We are all mixed ,we need to get our eyes set on "Jesus as savior".<><
OK WHO TOLD YOU THE ORIGINAL JEWS WHERE BLACK.
GROW UP.I think one of the twelve tribes of Judah was from Ethiopia. But low and behold some of the Ethiopian are white.

Wrong, Jesus was from Israel which is in the Mid. East! Damn, it doesn't actually matter what the heck his colour was...what matters is what came out of his mouth! Don't let the skin colour affect you!
If Jesus was black, that doesn't change his message!
If Jesus was purple, that doesn't change his message!
etc...colour has nothing to do with the message!

I don't think he was white honestly. he lived in the desert and a Jew. He probably had dark tanned skin, black hair and dark eyes.silly isn't it? that all those paintings of him are so light skinned,......really silly, come on now, this guy lived out in the desert for heaven's sake!! i don;t remember, did he have a mustache in the pic? because back then they all had those long beards and mustaches as well.
I think it's true he wasn't white.

because most Americans actually believe he was white
(couldn`t have been one of them ragheads now could he )
a lot of people have said he was a jew so they assume because most Isreali`s are quited light skinned now thats how they were then ,but they forget that Isreal wasn`t there until like 60 years ago and most people there now came from Europe .I should think with people then being out in the heat a lot he would pretty dark skinned and i don`t understand where they get fair hair either
Someone on YA once said he must have come from America because its the greatest nation on earth and God wouldn`t have let him be born where the rag heads are from
(Ragheads isn`t what i call Arabs)Its American and i`m English

Jesus was actually Jewish ( of Hebrew decent (tribe of Judah to be exact) not African decent). But I agree, we should portray Him as He actually was. And all this stuff does matter, because if he was White, he couldn't have been the messiah, he had to be Jewish (cause he is the Jewish messiah, duh) the bible says so. So it does matter.
