The Americans don't believe they are better than anyone else they know they are better than anyone else.
They have a working system of government, a bill of rights that enshrines individual's freedoms and the largest economy on the planet.

An underdog may look at this as "Flexing Muscles" but the majority of Americans are against being involved in someone else's fight.
But facts are facts. We are on the verge on World War III and maybe there should be only so many nuclear devices and not in the hands of those who want to cause harm to others.
The worst part of all this is something that ALL people can relate to...concern about the safety of our children.

Sorry I haven't caused any trouble in Iraq, Israel, or Lebanon etc. So please don't put all Americans in one catogory!! I doubt very much the majority of American have be dropping bomb or anything else in the counties mentioned!! It's people who ask these type of question that think they are better then the people answering it.

Not all Americans do. Many do (like some people who've posted to your question). I and many other Americans don't.
We're all world citizens. Bragging about your country being better than every one else's is what childish people do to puff themselves up. We need to have more mutual respect for each other in the world.

We dont make these countries @#$#, these #@## countries beg for our help, and seeing as we are the muscle of the UN, we get our hands dirty for them and try to help people, but of course, the government would like something in return, but the average american just wants a good life like everyone else. Don't generalize.

Why does everyone get the impression that all American's are the same? Hmm? People who say this **** are just as egotistical and high on their horse as they believe Americans to be. You may get the impression from our imbecilic government, but Americans are just as hard working as other people. We go through **** just like every other country. We don't get things handed to us. Every country fights their own battles. We have assholes just like every other country. But stop thinking that just because you get that impression from a few people every American thinks they're better than everyone else. Why do you think you're so much ******* better than Americans? Hmm? Shut up and live your life, stop complaining about other people.

bro if countries like them would get along with the rest of the world , we wouldnt need to step in and save your ****** *** , i'm not american and dont agree with every thing that their GOVERNMENT does, but those countries are ****** up man. Who the **** wakes up in the morning and decides to strap a bomb to themselves to kill innocent lives. CRAZY PEOPLE DO!!!
