I ain't no huge expert here but it generally should feel natural and unforced.
Eye contact is key not constant thats freaky but important and listen to what people have to say. So many people treat dates like a game or a job interview or something that sucks man. Just like listen to each other and try to be considerate of each others feelings.
To be honest different people want different things so theres not much point trying to be anything other than yourself. You want to be a player learn how to work out what they want and be that person. Me i'm just me if they don't like it then hey no skkin off my nose thanks for dropping by.

hmmm that is a tough one. I know that if I was interested in a guy and he invited me on a "date" to a restaurant then I would have definately replied. It maybe means that she might have not understood the text (iduno) Or she is simply just not interested.

If someone gives you alot of extra attention by messing/playing with you or smiling at you..etc.
You can tease them to let them know. don't overdo it and don't offend her.
