All I ever hear is "soon, very soon" Funny, my Grandmother heard the same thing when she was a child and he is not here yet. I want to know the day. Does anyone have any proof that he is coming back and when?

The bible says no one knows, only God. If any Christian does claim to know, they are deceived and do no follow the bible. Soon in the bible can span many thousand years. The New Testament claims Jesus would come soon, and the early Christians thought it would be during their lifetime. In Hebrews chapter 1 we see the Hebrew writer saying in these last days referring to the first century as the last days. So according to the bible we have been in the last days for 2000 years and Jesus has been said to come very soon for 2000 years. so it could be another 2000 years.

I think the only book I believe that this is mentioned is the last. I think the Catholic church is reviewing eliminating this book. Even old gnostic accounts have mentioned John coming back to earth for not understanding God. Consider this book of John aka revelations is the latest written book of the bible with a possible year of 90, consider the fact many people believe Jesus dies in year range 30.

The bible tells us that no man knows the time Jesus will return. In fact we are not supposed to speculate on such things. We should focus on making the world a good place to live, and spread the word of God to everyone. It is our duty to do this for Jesus since he gave his life for us.
Jesus will return when a decision is made in heaven for him to do so.

As a Christian, I cringe when someone makes a prediction of when Christ will return, especially when Jesus himself said that no man knows the hour or time of His return, not even Him. He said that only God the Father knew. So, when I hear someone make a prediction, I tend to not put much credence in their teaching.

yes he says he's coming soon. but Jesus also tells us all that he will come like a thief in the night. not even the angels of heaven will know when the second coming will occur. it's in the book of Revelation. you can check it out for yourself. but what's the rush. there's a lot of unsaved people out there. that's part one reason. and his bride (the church) doesn't look to pretty right now. and he's not comin' till it does.and "very soon" for him would seem like eternity on earth, so there's no tellin'. nobody has the ability to know except for Christ himself. so don't take it personal buddy!

When he comes back, you won't recognize him. So it doesn't matter if you know when. You will think it's a lie, because you won't see him, and will think he's not back.
He can be back already. He might be back for a lot of years, before people will recognize him, and see that he was back all along.
He came as a baby, then grew up and bore his cross. But he can come as something else. He can come as more than one person.
