Yes.
I'm a naturalized American. It took me six years of following the rules, at a cost of many thousands of dollars in lawyers' fees and government filing fees to attain my citizenship.
I had to show proof of income, go through extensive background checks, cross all my T's and dot all my I's before I was finally allowed to stay.
Now, hordes of illegals - predominantly Spanish - demand the same thing simply because they say so.
What happened to playing by the rules?
Round them all up and ship them back to their respective banana republics. Most of them are going to become burdens to the taxpayer, anyway.
If they have family, lives or ties over here - tough - they shouldn't have sneaked in in the first place.

My wife is chinese, and we had to jump through all sorts of hoops to get her legal and naturalized. Both of us are so ticked off about illegals that we are ready to shoot them and their employers on sight, especially since we live in southern California where the illegals are plentiful, militant and arrogant due to years of coddling by the supposedly "liberal" city of LA.
Of course they should be deported, repeat offenders severely punished, and employers drawn & quartered.

You should be upset by the illegal immigration. You did it the right and lawful way while millions get away with breaking the law. If the laws we have now were just enforced it would send them back to whence they came. no job. no welfare, no reason to be here. Vote for candidates that will enforce the laws against illegal immigration.

Sir you have a good point, you paid your dues and could enjoy all the benefits America offers, on the other hand since they entered illegaly right away they do not have the same benefits as you, so to answer your question you shouldnt be whinning about paying dues since you could do everything they cant here and travel back in forth to any part of the world.

I know the trials and tribulations of what you went through to be here.It wasn't right then and its not now .My wife and mother in law and other people I know had to do the same. But you need to understand although you went through this you shouldnt have had to .. This whole nation even people that were born here and lived here all their lives are illlegals..its not against you .Its the whole immigrant thing. The people makinig these laws are from a long line of illlegals .they came and pushed in and betrayed the natives ..what makes them any better than the ones that they are trying to keep out.Personally I don't know why people want to come here ,they are under an illusion that things are better here, but when they get here they work for less money are treated like subhumans and snobbed and so many other things..But in some cases they have a chance to make a living doing jobs others wont do because they think they are below them and then those people are the ones screaming about the people that want the jobs that work for less and live a modest life.I just don't get the whole thing. This country was built on other concepts than is present now .I think the forefathers would turn over in their graves because of it.I also as an American would like to on behalf of myself and other people that feel as I do that you had to go through the things you did in order to get here..Please don't be upset at others that try to come here to start a better life working for less and being treated badly.Feel pity that they could not make a living in their homeland that im sure they love as much as people living in countries that love them to and please don't be angry at people who are natives here because remember they are from a long line of illegals.. Please try to remember these people didn't make you go through all of that but the law makers that are doing it now making it even worse,be angry at them..Also I would like to add yes.. I don't want the drug dealers here or the bad people, but thats the bad thing the drug lords and the bad guys come and go because of corrupt officials that they are on the take.. so thats my opinion

If you do anything illegal you should suffer the consequence of your actions. If that means being sent back to where you came from then so be it.

No, they should be rounded up and put in concentration camps like the Nazis did to the Jews.

You may be a naturalized citizen, but you're still an idiot. Yeah, I don't like illegal immigration either, but how do you propose to round up millions of illegal aliens?
