I mean first of all, they give this little bag of peanuts and it takes you half an hour to open it.
Then they give a can of soda or juice, and all i want is some water!

I would say that the quality of food and service on Airlines in India has been steadily detoriating. I travel by Jet regularly and I have seen their food quality worsen with every journey.

Why dont you just bring your own? Most people barely pay anything for their ticket, so be glad you get something. Most airlines are charging for everything. If you want water, ask for it, every airline has it. Air travel is cheaper than ever and the fact that someone can book transcontinental flights for under $100 round trip and then complain that they dont get anything to eat is sad. If people want to go back to the days of having real food on the flights, be willing to pay something for your ticket, or bring your own food. There are no laws against that. Pay for it, or bring your own!

THEN ASK FOR WATER!!!!!!!!

They cant read your mind and if you cant do a simple thing like open a bag of nuts then mabye you should go back to pre school, learn how to ask for a glass of water and open a bag of nuts for yourself!!

take your own next time it's easier
always carry bottled water
now it has to be opened before you take it on board
