Alex A. Rest easy. Spelling was my idea of a joke. I don't really respect the intelligence of these Creation/design freaks. I think their answers have made my point.

Excellent! I love the spelling. That sums ID, and the people that believe it, up perfectly. I'm not sure that ID even qualifies as a hypothesis since there have been counter examples demonstrated. Evolution has been demonstrated in experiments, paleo-anthropology, genetics, biology and is supported by many other sciences. It is laughable and to see people posting things like 'you have to see it evolving before your eyes'. That shows how ignorant some people really are. Check out the links.

Mostly just a way for the fundamentalists to attack good science.
Ibanez TS9 said:
"Fossils don't explain Evolution but rather it explains that there were different animals that have lived on this planet before! To explain Evolution, you must prove that living creatures actually evolve before your eyes"
I'd like to comment on this as it's complete nonsense for two very basic reasons:
1) The Darwinian concept of evolution is supposed to take tens of thousands to millions of years. So you really should not see it right before your eyes...
2) This has been seen! Doberman pinschers were created from German pinschers, Rottweilers, Manchester terriers and pointers in just 35 years.
I should point out that although point 2) can be used to show the flaws in Ibanez's argument, it is not good evidence for evolutionary theory, as it should not happen so quickly.
Dogs are quite strange creatures, in that if you breed two species instead of getting an average of the two you often get something completely unexpected.
As to his other point:
"As far as Science is concern, Intelligent Design is as hypothetical as Evolution which still needs a solid evidence to pass them into Theory!"
That is complete nonsense that does not justify a full response. I'll happily give it a quick response though:
Evolution is a theory created by scientists to explain the facts. There is plenty of evidence to support it.
Intelligent Design is a 'theory' created by religious fundamentalists to get creationism taught in science classes in American schools. It certainly does not have any scientific support and should not be regarded as comparable to evolutionary theory.

It's an attempt by religious fundamentalists to take us back to the dark ages, before the age of reason, to a time where everything was explainable by magic.

Intersstying thought:- there is a higher proportion of scientists who are Christians than in the general population.
Many of THEM believbe in intelligent design (not all do, of course)
So the suggestion that it is just a ruse to attack science is flawed logic. It may be wiser to check certain facts first.
Newton & Kepler both believed in imtelligent design. hardly a pair of dimwits!!

It's a multi-billion dollar business supported by very sad people grasping at straws. I hate it and pity it at the same time.
For the record, it's not a theory. It's a hypothesis. Theories are supported by evidence.

Although the theory itself is a total assault on reason, it is not used to attack science. It is an attempt to get religion into schools.

Intelligent design has been successfully debunked. No serious student of science believes in it because it has been soundly refuted.

Intelligent Design is not a Theory but a hypothesis.
As far as Science is concern, Intelligent Design is as hypothetical as Evolution which still needs a solid evidence to pass them into Theory!
Remember:
Fossils don't explain Evolution but rather it explains that there were different animals that have lived on this planet before! To explain Evolution, you must prove that living creatures actually evolve before your eyes - "Mechanism Of Evolution"
for example: A Bacteria turned into a University Professor while documenting its changes...
Natural Selection?
Again, there is no evidence that supports that either...
Scientists these days are getting Philosophical - they're tempted to cross boundary between these desciplines
