I know there are verses or info in there because my Uncle is a Christain and once we discussed this. During the conversation he mentioned a few verses that implied life on other planets.
(don't remember which one's they were in the Bible)
Any open minded Christians out there who can back this up?
thanks

There is no definitive verse in the bible that suggests life on other planets however there is much on the diversity of this world and a heavenly realm. Scripture also describes how Elijah was taken up in a craft that resembled a wheel within a wheel and had eyes or lights all around it. one wheel spun one way and the outer wheel the other way. Best advice, Read your Bible. You will be amazed what you will learn!

The only other life outside of our world are the angels and fallen angels or demons and Satan that are mentioned in the Bible. There are a couple pf passages in the book of Ezekiel that mention a round wheel object moving in Zig-zag like movements which is made of berlyium which is a form of aluminum and the beings that are associated with them as being angels. From these scriptures I personally believe that some of the UFO activity sighted is angelic related but not alien because there is no physical evidence for aliens as much as some people want to believe in them.

There are many places in the Bible where life on other planets is at least hinted at. I will list a few below. Some are more compelling than others.

In Job 1, there is a meeting where the sons of God are called to present themselves before God. Although the text does not specify who these son of God are, it appears that they are the ambassadors from all the planets. Normally, Adam would have represented earth, but he lost his dominion when he sinned and Satan went in Adam's place. If this was a solitary text then sons of God could be angels with Satan, a former angel coming as well. However when taken with the other texts it is not unreasonable to believe that these sons of God are people from other planets.

In Ephesians 3:10, we have this verse:

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God

Apparently, God will use the church to showcase his wisdom in dealing with the problem of sin. The entire sinless universe is watching as the nature of sin is revealed and Satan's character is unmasked. Our planet is a lesson book for the universe as to the malignant nature of sin and its deadly results. These other worlds are represented by the powers and principalities in heavenly places reference here by Paul.

By far the most compelling evidence that I have found is in the story of the ninety and nine in Matthew 18 and luke 15. In these text Jesus speaks of the ninety and nine sheep who are safely in the fold. These are sheep who were never lost and do not need to be found. They have not fallen into sin, and do not require a Redeemer to save them from the results of sin. In contrast, Jesus came to save the one sheep that was lost. This sheep wandered away and became lost. This sheep represents our world, the only world where sin has found a footing. We are the ones who have sinned and need our Good Shepard to come to seek and to save us.

God did not need for many worlds to fall into sin to show how deadly sin was. Jesus did not have to die for many worlds, only ours. Once sin entered our world through the garden of eden, sin was quaranteed to our solar system. There was no need to allow sin to spread to the rest of the universe. Satan was cast down to this earth to show his form of government. The surrounding universe will finally see that God is just and loving in His dealings with sin and sinners.

I don't believe there is anything that would back that up in the bible.

That being said, I've always thought that it was incredibly arrogant to think that in this never ending universe that we are God's only gig.

I think life on other planets is a real possibility.

I truly don't know of any verses giving proof of this and I know my bible quite well. But, I do know that Ellen G.White , a prophet (SDA church) recieved testimony from God and she was shown that other worlds were created and did not fall from sin. I do not believe in UFO's because I do not believe these worlds would be interfeering with our sinful world.

its not mentioned in the way we are thinking about
it said that God is the creator of everythin
so if there is a live it will be from God even if its on this earth or some where else.

so that i think we will never know only if there is a real life out there.

Here's the best I could find...

Heb. 11: 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Heb 1: 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
