I doubt the Somalis want another 'Black Hawk down'. In order to kill 18 Americans, they took over 1000 casualties. Not a very good exchange, if you ask me.
There won't be another because there are no troops on the ground in Somalia. We merely attacked an al-Qaeda safe house with a single aircraft. That attack lasted maybe 10 minutes. Now we're done. Ethiopia has troops in Mogadishu, but we don't and I don't expect we ever will again.

You should be more concerned about the Battle Group Bush moved from the Pacific, off the coast of Korea, to the Mediterranean!

It appears that Bush wants to go after Iran! Well, the Senate told him to forget about it. They will not approve any such action! And there is a War Powers Act!

This is our first opportunity to avenge that horrific act fifteen years ago. I doubt that we are going to blow it again. I would say the US military is highly motivated to destroy as many Islamic militants as they possibly can. We will take the fight to them. whenever we can.
