Theres this guy at school... we dated a few years ago. Hes a great guy but i just dont understand him. He is always talking to me and flirting with me. But he does the same thing to my best friend. My best friend has a major crush on him and asked him out he said no. And says he doesnt like her so why does he continue to flirt with both of us?

Your answers all help but i just dont know if i see him that way. Hes really nice. Sometimes i wonder if he rejected my friend because hes interested in me but wont ask cause he doesnt want to hurt her. Maybe i try to hard to see the good in situations. PLZ help me.

It seems that he really likes you but, flirts with your friend to get info on you from her and the only way he can do that is to lead her on but, seems he got called on his "flirts" when she asked him out. His cover was then blown and he had to reject her because then he would've lost your attention by settling for her.
Don't let him come between you and your friend because, if he can't have you he'll settle for her and she'll end up hurt by him and blame you. Just relaying the facts of life, that's how that game is played. If you really want to catch this player, you and your friend need to unite a front together and set him up to fall in his own game then, you both will be Queen Playerettes and won't have to worry about this happening again!

Maybe it makes him feel like a big man. Maybe he gets off on playing with your heads. Move on ladies he sounds like an immature player.
