I'm in Junior High, and my parents don't want me to date. Theres this girl I really like, and shes really liked me back since November. Theres a dance on Friday that I am going to by saying its a "game night" but we want to be able to go out together on, say, saturday to see a movie or something. She knows that my parents are like this, but I don't know what to do. Please help!

Not that I encourage this. But sometimes you have to do what you want to do.

Here's the plan, tell your parents you are meeting friends @ the theatre to see a movie and have them drop you off.

Have your lady friend tell her parents the same thing, and drop her off a short time after you get there.

She will get out of the car and meet you in the theatre. Wait for both of your parents to leave the parking lot, walk up and buy tickets...have fun!

Sorry, parents are usually right. Just because "everyone else" is dating doesn't mean you're ready. They probably view it as a serious committment, which it should be. Just the fact you are lying to get to see her doesn't sound very wise or mature. I'd say, respect your parent's rules.

so pretty much just get together with some guy friends and go to the movies, then have your lady friend do the same things with her friends, you two sit together privately above the other friends at the movie that way that can't be bugging you and teasing you, and a-you fool your parents, b-you get time alone with your lady friend, and c-your friends and her friend can get to know eachother!! Hope you have fun!!

Don't do it, If you lie and get caught you will regret it. Just meet her at the dance and spend time with her at school. When your school has any kind of event, have her meet you there.

Your parents are right in their own manner, but nothing wrong in a friendship date. Keep your distance right now.

Your parents would like for you to focus primarily on your future right now..which is more important(whether you realize it yet or not).

There is a reason why your parents don't trust you, and it's because you're an immature, lying, untrustworthy little brat.
