good question. generally the rulel of thumb is if you need the relationship to me monogamous then you should not be in the relationship. if yo are into the monogamy thing then i would say about 3-5 months. get to know the other person before taking the next step!

men don't want to be monogamous, we just say we do when we need too.

You don't no anything about men do you.When a man wants to stop having sex with other women just to have sex with one woman that's when the world will end.Get the picture.That is what they live for.I'm not saying that is what they do I'm just saying that is all they think about

It's never monogomous until the woman asks for a monogomous relationship and the man accepts. It varies, sometimes only a few weeks, sometimes never.
