I have tried effexor, lexipro, and zoloft and not even aweek within taking them, they made me feel worst and nauseous. any others that are good but dont make me feel sick. ??

I tried sooooo many, before my Dr. finally decided we would give Paxil a try. Thank God, I have my life back, my husband has his wife back, and my children have their mother back. It does have sexual side affects, but those went away for me after about 6-8 weeks.

Hi there,
Just so you know, Zoloft and Effexor are supposed to be taken with food because they're known to cause nausea and GI side effects, and doing that will decrease that side effect from happening. Also as pharmacists, we recommend taking them at bedtime if it makes you sick to your stomach, so if it does happen you'll be fast asleep and you wont feel anything.

It varies from person to person.
And if you are only giving the pills a week, you're not giving your body enough time to adjust to them.
But as somebody who has to take antidepressants, I will also say I have never found one that didn't cause some kind of problem as a side effect.
Maybe you'll be luckier than me. I hope so.

You need to give them at least 30 days.
Celexa or Sarafem may work well for you.
Effexor will absolutely cause major weight gain in the majority of people that take it, so you may not want to try that one for the 30 days.
I agree with the dosing at bedtime!

Almost all medications have those side affects. The side affects only last for 3-4 weeks. Ask your doctor.
