Wtichcraft is defined on a personal basis. To educate yourself, you need to find as many sources and learn as much as you can. It's not just one teacher or group of people that can teach you. And as far as initiation, when you feel you have learned enough to make a commitment, you can self-initiate should you choose to practice solo, or you can find a local coven to be a part of should that group of people share your interests.
There are many MANY perceptions and beliefs in Wicca, and you are likely to pick and choose what you see as fitting for you.
Good luck!
PS There is no age limit, really.. if you are interested in learning, pick up a book or visit a website :-) Covens may have restrictions, but otherwise, learn to your heart's content!

Wicca is an initiate-only oath-bound religion, as such Wicca are not permitted to tell you how they practice.
If you want to learn about Wicca then you have to sieve through the plethora of information and misinformation, there are many web sites and books available, some reliable and some are not, the more you study the better you are at determining what is reliable and what is not. If you are serious in your study you will find your way through it all, if not you will probably come to the pit-fall that many people do, that is believing what they read about Wicca, that it is essentially something self-taught or that can be done eclectic or solitary.
Wicca covens find you when you are ready, if there are covens in your area then get out to local moots and gatherings, make sure you are educated enough not only to get there attention as a potential new member but so that you know the difference between a Wicca coven and a coven pretending to be Wicca – because I assure you that there are far more of the latter over the former. It goes from there, if a coven takes you on you will be trained and in time initiated – Wicca covens generally do not initiate anyone under the age of 18 years old, for practical, legal and moral reasons.

You don't have to be of any certain age to educate yourself on Wicca or Witchcraft. However, you have to have a great amount of maturity. With education comes responsibility. You need to prepare yourself for that if you want to learn.
I highly, highly recommend Scott Cunningham's book "The Truth About Witchcraft Today" to start out with. It describes what Witchcraft is, what Wicca is and dispels a lot of misconceptions. Best part of all, it's a cheap book and wont take that much time to read.
From there, it's a wise idea to learn from as many resources as you can find on the subject. I studied Wicca and Witchcraft for ten years before I practiced it, and claimed it as my religion.
Good luck, and blessed be!

The best way to learn is enroll at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Get yourself a Nimbus 2000 broomstick for flying, a caldron for making potions and a good pheonix feather wand for casting spells and hexes. All available at DiagonAlly.

Wiccans don't approach you, you have to be proactive if you want to be included. Read books, google it online most cities have a group of practicing Wiccans even Dallas TX if you can believe it. My mom is a Wiccan and she just started looking online. It teaches strength and raises women's self esteem, of all the religions its the oldest and most mysterious. Its basically believing in nature and respecting your envionment. Its not PAGANISM, its not worshipping the devil , its simply another source to find strength.
